Spider-Man 2: 8/10 GS, 90MC UPDATE: 5 million copies over 10 days!

Not the 9/10 I was predicting for GS but good enough. Am very much looking forward to playing this on Friday.

Seriously, look at some of the combat in spiderman2, and then have a peek at Starfield. Insomniac is much more talented than Bethesda, its like comparing a dev crew that was built on nft's, to a very well respected studio that has been around since the 90's. The gap is insane.

You do realise that the animations difference isn't a couple years apart, nor even a generation apart, but more like two and a half gens apart, yea? RDR2 isn't like Spiderman2 neither, but its animations work is certainly not over two generations behind.

Nothing to do with the genre of the game. It has everything to do with the quality of what's on offer. Not to mention that both titles have their setpieces, and what's in Starfield looks like it could've been achieved on the original Xbox in 2004.

They're both video games. One offers incredible presentation, while the other has the presentation of something from the mid to late 2000's🤷‍♂️If, to you, simply comparing the walk animation of both games is like comparing apples to oranges, then you're a lost cause.

Why would it hold 4k when it has RT by default on all modes? Your Starfield can barely hold 30fps, has no rt, and doesn't have the insane traversal spiderman 2 has🤡

Well, you have to first love comicbook superheroes to properly enjoy a superhero game. Then it comes down to which game offers the best superhero experience. Spiderman ps4 is definitely one of the best.

Nice, gonna be great on PC next year. Don't want to play it at dreadful 30 fps.

@hardwenzen: i knew Starfield would make it's way in here.... Can we all take a moment and praise Starfield for its staying power in the minds of the community. It's become Sony fans mostly hottly discussed game of the year and even when a decent exclusive comes out they still be on that Crackfield pipe!

How could you release a Super Hero game without Co-Op in late 2023?

Definitely the biggest release of the year if it's being talked about on spider man's launch day. I don't even think Sony has another game this year to compete with Starfield, do they? Starfield has been confirmed GOAT!
