So Dungeon Keeper lives on in Fable Legends?

Ok, I missed the E3 as I was at work at the time, but I've just seen the gameplay footage from Fable Legends, and the idea of making it a co-op based dungeon crawler made me wet! But implementing features from Dungeon Keeper - a game which Lionhead, formerly Bulffrog, actually created themselves (albeit with Peter?)...This is just amazing.

I have nothing else to say. Amazing idea for asymmetrical multiplayer - and the one I've been thinking of myself a lot of times.

I think this is the closest thing to Zeus mode in ArmA 3 on consoles.

War Of The Overworld.

Game looked bad. Arguably the worst thing shown at the press conference.

I strongly beg to differ. Combat looked as smooth as in Gears of War type of a game, not Mass Effect POS which pretends to be an action game. And this feature allowing one evil player to control the flow of hazards / events / traps, etc. - brilliant.

Not even close to be the same. Other than you being evil and it having a top down perspective there were no similarities. Like the user before said War for the Overwold seems to be the game to look at if you want a Dungeon Keeper experience.

Lives on = as it has some elements inspired by it? Come on? Are you blind? Does it have to be a 1:1 facsimile in order to meet your semantic standards?

No it doesn't have to be identical but it needs a hell of a lot more than that.

Unless it's an RTS with optional first-person view, then it won't feel like Dungeon Keeper.

About as much as it did in DK mobile. Still, cool idea.

Looked more like Dungeonland clone to me

They never said if the co-op could be done offline.....

But it was said that any missing human players could be replaced by the AI.

Ofcourse they are.... Gears of War did that too but the Screen could only be split 2 ways not 4.

This is Microsoft trying to Ressurect "The Cloud" ! And they're willing to kill Local co-op just to do it.

They had the chance to make Dungeon Keeper 3.
Instead they made a Chinese MMO Dungeon Keeper with British humor. (I like British humor but I am not the everyday Chinese.)
It's clear they are not serious about bringing the franchise back.
I'll look to the indie industry to make a new Dungeon Keeper and Populous The Beginning game. At least they know what's up.
