Does it have games that interest you? If the answer is yes, then by all means. Don't listen to any of the fanboys on here. The Sony fanboys will scream that its 50% less powerful than the PS4 and that it can't do 1080p is not true! The X1 fanboys will scream about it being the only "true next gen" console due to its all in one functionality. They will also brag up Halo, Gears of War, Forza and XBL. You should research and decide what is best for you!!!

That's like asking me if you should punch yourself in the face. Knock yourself out, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Get whatever your friends/peers are playing on, or are likely to get, if they're playing on Xbox One, then sure, if they all have PS4s then get that; that goes for everyone.

TC seems to have everything but an X1, he should just get it to have a rounded experience for the current gen. Get all the multiplats on the system of choice, use the other systems just to play exclusives.

I don't see the point of buying all 4 platforms unless you have extra money to blow and tons of free time. You have a PC, PS4, and Wii U , which is more than plenty. I think having all 4 is overkill. But it's your money, you should make your own decisions on how you want to manage it.

and the one exclusive that people want to play on xbone isnt even exclusive anymore (deadrising 3 comin to pc in sept). Xbone doesnt have a lot of exclusives anymore with deadrising and plant vs zombies not exclusive anymore. So unless ryse, forza, killer instince or kinect sports (seriously why would anyone fork over 400-500 bucks for this game, especially since you have a wii u?) interest you , i would say no

I'm in the same predicament. I want sunset overdrive so bad and I want things like dead rising. But with all the great multiplats coming at the end of this year I should just save my money for those and just play them on ps4 which will supposedly be superior anyway. Buying a new console will cut into the games I buy.

I'm doing WiiU and XBone, but I won't get a PS4 unless I trade the XBone for it.

I'm still using the WiiU a lot more. But it's nice to have the XBone for the multiplats that will be exclusive to the current gen the next 5 years or so. And that Halo collection is a game I'll definitely be getting too.
