I dont understand you sheep.

Technology is evolving and TV is getting better picture quality.

Who DOESNT want HD?

It seems Nintendo has brainwashed your minds to think HD isTABOO or something.

Why would you be against something new and improved. You support wii right? Kind of ironic.

It's STANDARD. Live with it. Ive never seen people bash new technology. If you can't afford it just admit it.

And im pretty sure the only people who bash it simply Have never played games on one, watched a movie on one, simply can't afford one, or are just nintendo fanboys.

64% of households in Japan are HD equipped. The number is rising really fast in North America as well.

You know what looks blurry on my HDTV? Wii.

LOL, dude this is all i hear. No one is bashing hd. Its stupid for you to make this thread. Its not as if there is a problem with it, it raises resolution at the price of a few hundred bucks. I dont think anyone is bashing it. How would you bach it anyway??????

Yup HD is needed. I mean thats why 100% of veiwers watching the Super Bowl have HD TVs:roll:

HD is good but its not needed. It doesn't change gameplay. I play my 360 on composite I don't care its still the same game. If you wanna buy me a TV then go ahead but as a college student I simply cannot afford one hell I could barely afford the systems.

What's there to bash about HD? Sure, sheep have made points that it isn't necessary, or that it isn't standard yet,or that it is expensive, but I've never heard anything that claims is being bad, per se. Nintendo said their next console will be HD capable, so if sheep went against it now, they would have to contradict themselves next gen.

And the Wii still has games over the PS3 at least. There are Wii games that have outscored every single one of the PS3 exclusives.

Yeah it's rising fast because the prices have dropped so much over the last year or two. I kick myself every day for buying a TV RIGHT BEFORE they released 1080p TV's. Dam technology.....i'll never be the first to buy new technology again.

I'll get an HD TV when... I don't know... when I can afford it. One of the problems with HD TVs is that they are all large. I don't have room for a 50" TV in my room.

If you are referring to the HD broadcast signals, yeah they are not the standard signal yet. Congress keeps pushing it back every year it seems. It was I believe supposed to be standard by 2008, not sure anymore though. All I know is when the TV signal gets changed to HD, everyone who owns a non-HD TV has to pick up a converter so it decodes the signal to play on their TV. It'll be instresting when all this happens.

I've never seen a topic that said "HD sucks" Sure, some say that it isn't needed, which is true. Of course, maybe those fanboy glasses of yours change the words "unnecessary" to "rubbish".

Show me the worldwide percentage of HDTV owners instead of babbling on about how you think HD is standard, and because YOU think it's standard it must be true.-The-G-Man-

I dont mean its standard as in a large percentage of people have it.

I mean its standard as in that is the primary TV retailers will try to sell to you, and they will have the most variety of HDTVs instead of SDTVs

[QUOTE="FlashMan2006"]HD is not standard. The penetration rate is at around 30% so you're wrong. Plus, almost all of my buddies still have SDTVs I don't see them saying "Oh My God! This look ugly! I have to get an HDTV!!!" :lol:Blackbond

HD IS STANDARD . Just because your buddies still play SDTV doesnt mean it isnt.

Its just expensive rite now. its standard, get over it.

HD isn't standard until HD broadcasts are standard.

Bush signed a bill that said by 2008/2009 broadcasters have to use digital signals instead of analog signals.

So what exactly is the point of this thread? Sheep basically argue what's the point of selling an HD console if the majority of consumers do not have HDTVs to play their HD consoles on. That's what Nintendo is saying too. When HDTVs are the majority in homes then Nintendo will sell an HD console not when the rate is at 42% like it is now.
