In any event it will come to 360 too, making it multi plat.

Unless Microsoft is doing similar tactics Nintendo did with Bayonetta 2, where it's more than just pay the dev, but actually help co-develop, then I doubt it.

I'm excited for Tomb Raider vs Uncharted. This only sweetens the contest. I know I might be in the minority here, but I thought the latest Tomb Raider was better than Uncharted 3. Both were good games though.

it may be exclusive but it doesnt stop Rise of the Tomb Raider Ultimate edition coming to PS4 a year later.

Until Tomb Raider: Rise Of the Tomb EE shows up on the PS4. Even games MS published ended up on the PS3. Mass Effect & Ninja Gaiden. This could also be for the Australia market. Each market can have a different deal in place. Either way, I get to play it but I think it's lame it's exclusive to the X1 considering it's roots have always been with the Playstation brand.

That's what I used to think as well. I recently played Tomb Raider Definitive edition on PS4 and it was amazing, fantastic game. I think a LOT of people will care that the sequel is completely exclusive to Xbox One though I still can't believe that.

I have an Xbox One but would rather play it on my PS4 lol.

Yep. Maybe in 3-4 years when it's $5 - I have no intention of getting a Xbox One for at least 2 years (considering I'm just getting my PS4 Batman Bundle)

Hope the developers are getting paid $30 x all the lost sales in this deal. By that logic; MS must be paying them at least $30 million or more, $60 million for 2M sales? Just to keep this game off PS4. These kind of deals are fascinating, because I wonder how MS/Sony determine their return on investment? Maybe it's just a straight up profit sharing on the game, but when the exclusive deal itself is capping the total profits of the game - that won't be as big of a pool for Square/Crystal Dynamics to divide. Somebody just has to be a loser in these types of deals - besides gamers being the obvious losers.
