Looking at this post, we gamers should really go PS4 and PC.

Not a good day for lems. Today would be a good day for Sony to delay Horizon: Zero Dawn.

I still need to see gameplay to know whether I should get hyped for this or not.

No reason to own an Xbox One at this point.

That's cool and all but it's hard to be hyped when we've been shown nothing, Inafune is mired in contempt and conspiracy and the last "from the developers of Metroid Prime (whoever they may be)" title I bought was decidely average (Batman: Blackgate). I've seen a CGI cutscene, nothing more.

Windows 10 Exclusives are gonna rock this gen, good stuff. :P

I think the term would have a much stronger impact if they hadn't offered it for free to everyone and their mother :P It's like saying "coming in 2016, exclusively to your sky, clouds!!" xD

Not too surprising

Not a good start for Xbox already. But whatever, I might give recore a shot if it releases this year. But I still know very little about it.

Lol, yeah I know, I just read GS news article saying Win 10 is on something like 160 million PC's already. Man, if they would have just charged a minimal fee like $5.00, they would have pocketed like 800 million right there. :o Eh, that's MS for ya, for the gamer, by the gamer and all that jazz. :P

Not a PC gamer so all of those will be bought on the Xbox One for me. Don't see how people are twisting this as a bad thing for MS since there are plenty of console only gamers out there so to us, these are exclusive titles we can only get on 1 console.

I have a gaming PC and I wanted an XBO for Halo Wars. Awesome news.

Fantastic, looks like I'll never need to grab a xbone.

Quantum Break is the only game from that list that mildly interests me and that's still an X1 exclusive.

Ever since it's reveal I've been saying this game was making it's way to PC :P.

I love how Microsoft has become so generous, it's wonderful not having to purchase a paperweight for a promising new IP.

So much for true exclusive games...

Happy for gamers, but disappointed for Microsoft's confusing approach to making a standout console.

And yet I own MSFT and it has risen from 42 in the summer to 55 at Christmas all while giving away windows 10, the ZOMG!!!! failure of Halo 5 and Rise of the TR. The same ole story here. No need to own the X1, yet is moves units every month because most do not want to hook their PC to their HDTV or game on PC, and as usual posters here know jack shit about corporate finance.

LOL, today is a bad day for lems. First Scalebound and now this. The Xbone lineup for 2016 continues to evaporate. Bad timing too, considering they need all the help they can get to go against the PS4 which will be bringing the real big guns this year. Wow, Xbone is going to get steamrolled so hard.

I predict QB will be the next game to somehow appear on PC lol.

This is great news. I own an Xbone, but given the option, I'd rather play games on the PC.

Someone is saying if they had just charged $5 per copy for the financial gain. But the company's market price went up 13 dollars per share in 6 months when all these so called negatives were happening to them. Proving my last statement. Did this really need clarification?

I completely disagree. It was extremely clever to offer Win10 for free to private customers. You have to realize that Win10 will be a product that will be around for quite some time (at least a few years) and letting people pay once for it isn't all that satisfying. Especially not if you think about how many people used to use a pirated Windows version. A lot of these people now think about upgrading their pirated version of Win7 or Win8 to an official version of Win10, many of them probably using an official version of Windows for the first time ever. Why is that good for Microsoft aka how to make money based on that? Well, simple. The money is made with the Windows 10 store. Mircosoft realized that you by selling additional apps, games and software they can make a lot more money than by creating barriers of entry in the first place. And it already pays off since according to Microsoft only in December, Windows 10 generated more than a 4.5x increase in revenue per device, as compared to Windows 8. 60% of the store users were completely new to the store ecosystem. In the same vein Microsoft wants to sell their games to Win10 users and make their profit with these sales (and/or later in-game purchases, not to forget!). Just like Steam, the shop is free, but the product still costs. ;)

I hope Quantum Break will come to PC too. Sam Lake is interested but IP is owned by M5, so it's up to them now. But Sam seemed pretty confident about it.

EDIT:

Expect QB to be Win10 Exclusive if it comes out just like KI and ReCore. Will switch to Win10 later this year, or early next year, once some DX12 goodies are out.

For the life of me I don't understand why MS doesn't try harder to secure exclusives that will stay exclusive. The Xbone is the inferior multiplat machine, so why buy it unless there's a good selection of exclusive content? There's not a good selection of exclusive content and it doesn't seem like there will be any time soon.

Good move by MS. A lot of PC gamers won't buy consoles to play a few exclusives.

No hype here. We don't know anything about the game. The only thing CA Studios showed us was a CGI trailer and left us with zero gameplay to comment on.

The facts. PC versions don't do the damage system wars wishes.

As much shit as I give Sony for their weaksauce first party and as bad as their exclusives have been this gen, I do have to give them credit for striking the right balance between first party and third party, unlike MS and Nintendo. That's not to say that they've struck that balance yet (the PS4 is pretty light on exclusive content), but they probably will. Whereas Wii U will never have third party support and I don't see MS's first party becoming more robust this gen.

Well yes, in the real world that's all that matters and this is no biggie at all. Just more people able to play the game which is good.

In SW, this is a death sentence and you no longer have any right to enjoy the game.
