Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart Hype Thread - 9/10 from GS and 89 on MC

I've noticed that no one else has made one of these yet so thought I may as well make one.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is the sixteenth entry in the series and is releasing exclusively (at the moment) for PS5 on June 11th.

Are you hyped for the newest entry in this long running series and what scores are you predicting on Gamespot & metacritic?

10/10 on gamespot and 98% on Metacritics. I have high standards.

Not hyped for it. I'll still get it...when it's $20 or less.

Why's a lem making the hype thread for a ps5 game? Anyway for me it'll be a 8/10 I'm not a big cartoon guy unless its mario and I don't like the new marios as much.

If a "lem" wouldn't make it then it wouldn't get made at all, you cows have had weeks to make this and there was still none in sight when there's less than a week to go.

I’m pretty hyped for this myself but unfortunately it’ll probably be some time until I get it, need to get a PS5 first and that may be awhile. Still though I’ve always enjoyed the Ratchet & Clank and expecting this one to be very good as well. I’d say it’ll probably easily get a 9/10 here at GS and probably a 91 MC.

Maybe people are a little bit embarrassed, ever since the reveal of the character that became known as Rivet. I would be too.

Let's just say she inspired some rather "colourful" fanart.

I wouldn't mind playing the game, but i wouldn't pay more than $20 for a series/genre i am not into. If anyone can lend me $50 from their stimulus check, please let me know, guys.

It may not be the hype thread we want, but it's the hype thread we deserve.

Hoping Rift Apart is better than the PS4 offering (which I still enjoyed, but it wasn't as good as the PS3 entries). I wonder if Insomniac is more excited about this one seeing they can hit 60 fps on the PS5 and there is no dumb movie tie-in. It's just R&C for the sake of having a fun R&C game. Let's go!

I haven't seen anyone embarrassed or annoyed on Rivet really. I'm honestly also not particularly impressed by what little we've seen of the character in general; I guess I am curious as to how the whole thing is gonna play out. For me, I hope Rivet adds to what happened with the lombax, especially since it takes place after Into the Nexus. Been hoping they would move forward with that since a Crack in Time.

I'm no Furry guy but I'm aware rule 34 doesn't mess around😏 But since I'm an Anime fan, not my problem😉

I will give my impressions when I play it. You have played the other games so you are not missing much. And if you take a blackout on the game, then you will enjoy the game equally as well when you get a PS5. 😊

8 to 9 here mid 80's to low 90's on meta. I'll say 8/88 just for fun though.

Another game I'm not all that interested in but might pick up since there isn't much to play for the PS5 right now.

Last time I said "lower than Returnal", and I still believe that.

I cant wait for the game being that ratchet is my second favorite franchise behind only Zelda. I just order a poster from amazon for the game to and plan to stream the game friday or sat depending on like e3 stuff and work and what not. At first I thought this was going to be like a 88 on metacritic but the more that has been shown the better it looks. I think its going to be a 94.

I'll admit, I'm jealous of this game... I really want to play it. Looks awesome.

I'm looking forward to it, but I don't want to spend full price, I can wait it out, still have yet to finish Spidy and start MM.

I think cows will spend more time nitpicking at MS these next few weeks than celebrating their games. I look forward to playing it on my PC in near future.

I am calling it now, that the jumping between dimensions on the fly was overstated. Based on everything I have seen, it allows the player to jump within viewing distance of a visible rift.

Looks like a really pretty R&C game. But still a R&C game. Something I've never really had much fun with. Although saying that I've not played one since the PS3 so what do I know.

That's what i've been saying and triggering Tormy with. And its not overrated, but a lie. You don't instantly warp whole new maps at will.

Ratchet & Clank is a pretty consistent 8/10 series, and that will be my guess for the new game as well.

I'm expecting better than all the other Ratchet and Clank games as they are charging more for it. :)
