No. THe last Banjo handheld game sucked.
And since Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie are coming to XBLA there is no reason to port them to the DS. They'd be over priced.

Why the hell did you bump an old thread like this?
I was still calling Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts Banjo-Threeie instead.
Willy "rare isnt the same anymore banjo nuts and bolts will suck"
Willy later "omg banjo on the DS will be so awesome"
...
The original titles will release on the xbox live arcade. NOT the Wii.TheDustyOnewhy did you bumped this?
I dont see why Nintendo even sold Rare in the first place. :(
Miyomatic
The Goldeneye/Perfect Dark developers formed Free Radical Design and all that were left were people who do Platformers. And from a business point of view two hundred mil for a company that produces a game every two years is a bargain.
[QUOTE="JiveT"][QUOTE="---OkeyDokey---"]could happen, after all rare have to make money somehow and its not going to happen on a microsoft console---OkeyDokey---
:?
wanna know badly viva pinata, kameo, conker live and reloaded and grabbed by the ghoulies sold?
banjo threeie will probably be a huge sales flop unless ms puts some marketing behind it like they did with gears.
Viva Pinata sold 1m, and Kameo sold 700k. That is hardly bad.
[QUOTE="Bubblehash"]Not me. I would rather have a good Spyro game.vicmackey39
No such thing
Well DRRRRR!!!!!!! Thank you Captain Obvious. That's why I said I would like one. Because there isn't one.[QUOTE="yoshi_64"][QUOTE="Willy105"][QUOTE="yoshi_64"]I wanna know what the purpose of those stupid eggs and ice key were for... Really, I got them, and nothing... :|ZeldaMaster32
It was a cancelled feature.
Originally, you could collect the eggs in Banjo-Kazoiie, to unlock stuff in banjo-Tooie.
It was supposed to work that it will save the data on the console, you would take out the Banjo-Kazooie game pak while the console was on, and put Banjo-Tooie in. But due to delays, it had to be cancelled.
If the Gamecube was not coming a couple months after Banjo-Tooie was released, we would have that feature.
Really? How could you move out a cartridge while the console was on? That would be interesting to see, but I thought you couldn't do that without damaging the system... I never heard of it as a feature, I assumed it was just a part in B-K that never reached fruitation because of time constraints. When you turned off the N64, the memory of the previous game was still there for like 20 seconds or whatever. Feasibly, you could activate SNS in Kazooie, turn off N64, pop in Tooie, and PRESTO. Whatever SNS does/unlocks happens.
However a design change in N64 hardware turned the memory time down to 6 secs or w/e prior to 2000 and as such, SNS became this great conspiracy we all know and love.:)
No that's wrong, the saved games would be saved in the cartridge. That's why when I would rent games from blockbuster I would see other peoples games played.

No, but it's not enough for Microsoft to get it's moneys worth...

I think he means the RAM would retain the Game data for 6 seconds, so you could boot up tooie in that time it would still have the Kazooie data and unlock something in tooie.
Wow. This is an really old thread. Wonder why it got bumped?
Anyway, if they were to put B-K on the DS I would rather it be something new - something optimized for the DS.
Really, I would just like to see Banjo-Kazooie on the VC.

I know!
What kind of idiot doesn't want more Killer Instinct?JiveT
Yeah, seriously? I freaking love Killer Instinct!
But yeah, Banjo on DS would be fairly amazing. I'm not hopeful though, but only because there has been no hardcore indication that it would ever be ported over. I'll be tripping balls if that ever gets announced.
