PSA: Killzone: Shadow Fall Multiplayer Free for PS+ Members

"PlayStation 4 owners who haven't yet gotten to try out Killzone: Shadow Fall's multiplayer will have the chance to do so for free later this month, provided they're PlayStation Plus subscribers. From December 28-31, PlayStation Plus members will be able to play Shadow Fall's multiplayer component for free." - IGN

No idea haha. Well, actually you get the full game in the download. But only the Multiplayer is accessible during the free trial. You have to buy the game to unlock the single player.

I read that it usually only has around 1000-2000 players at peak time.

How is it free if it is for ps+ members only? You have to pay to get psn+ unless they are giving everyone a two day free trial so they can play multiplayer.

i have infinite bandwidth but even then its not worth it. Who gets into competitive multiplayer for three days o.O

they experimented with stuff like that with U3, KZ3 and some other game. They would give out the multiplayer for free form those games after a while that the game was out, but it would be capped at a certain level. You would have to buy th efull game to continue leveling up and unlocking stuff. Its their take of "trail version" + "free to play".

Its a neat concept. But this time they are only doing it for 3 days with KZ:SF, probably cuz the game is still new. The other games they did that with was after a year it had been released.

You'll basically be downloading the whole game, but only the multiplayer will be available. Then when you buy the full game, only a small download key would be needed to unlock the full game.

Why would anybody waste their time with this game when BF4 is available on the same platform? I don't give a shit if it's free. You are knowingly wasting your time on an inferior shooter as opposed to playing one of the GOATs.

KZ MP is pretty good. It also totally different from BF4. I prefer Killzone SF over BF4 for smaller matches, but overall BF4 is better.

Edit: Also maybe the same reason Ghosts sold better than BF4 despite being inferior. BF4 can a huge clusterf*** at times and not very casual friendly.

BF4... A GOAT? It's too damn buggy to be that and the maps are not good enough to even consider it. Then there is levelution. Where on most maps nothing hardly happens. Like on Zaavod 311... a smoke stack falls. Wow! Maybe Golmud railroad....no that just has IED devices that create little craters in the map.

Hasn't every Battlefield game had a rocky launch dating all the way back to Bad Company? This really isn't anything new. I will agree that the maps are a bit of a mixed bag but the China Rising maps are supposedly pretty awesome and we're getting a few updated BF3 maps after that.

Crashing has been greatly reduced. It isn't completely eliminated yet but it's not a common thing anymore. The game has come quite a long ways from the train wreck that it was at launch but it's still far from perfect.

No it isn't anything new, but how does that excuse anything? You said GOAT. In its current state it is nowhere near GOAT material. Knowing Dice, there will still be bugs when BF5 launches. BF3 still has issues.

The multiplayer is the only part of the game that is worth playing. The single player starts off pretty good and then gets crazy bad near the end. The multiplayer is pretty fun. But BF4 is better. (When it works)

My bad, I forgot that people buy the PS4 but not PS+. Literally get over it. It is free if you buy something that is necessary to enjoy more than a third of the console. Stop with the play on words. If you own PS+, which I would imagine almost ALL PS4 owners do, then yes, this game is free. If you, for some reason, bought a PS4 without PS+, then no. But then i guess you wouldn't care about the multiplayer anyway huh?

The Multiplayer is horrible, the weighted aiming and movement is still terrible and I couldn't pick any of the guns as something I liked using. People who play this will quickly come to learn it isn't that good, probably why it's being given away so quickly.
