Nah that's why you have Rachet and Clank 9 or is it 10?The PS3 is missing out on a rehash. Period.

cows isn't missing much with this game. It's a nice game and i enjoy it, but to make a thread stating that this is another game cows can't enjoy, it's not that overwhelming, especially since cows have Demon Souls, Uncharted 2, and Ratchet and Clank: a Crack in Time to play exclusively;)
Oh yes all the sleep I will loose because I dont get to play such a good game. If only I had better games to play..
Ohh don't worry, I'll be playing it on my PC, Pre-ordered it on steam already, but thanks for caring :).
Got the first L4D on my 360 and though it was fun and had a great time online i dont see a reason why i should spend money on its sequel... with the exception of getting the game at a really (really) cheap price i think i'll pass on this one..
[QUOTE="789shadow"]How could he overlook that, geez, didn't he know every ps3 owner also has a top of the line PC with the latest graphics hardware... You do not need a top of the line PC with the latest graphics hardware to run Left For Dead 2 on even high settings. A 500 dollar PC will run it at the highest settings at 1920x1080.They can just play it on PC.

That game sucks, I played it on one of my 3 xbox's (they all broke) and wasn't impressed. But at the same time my little brothered played it and he now owns it for PC (not for that crappy xbox) and he's hooked. I can guarantee that game won't even make it as a GOTY nominee.
wow, oddly, I believe none of that....
its not at all hard to believe considering 360 is the crappiest system ever made.3 sounds kinda low actually, and Ill just kick back with uc2,demons soul or ratchet and clank,l4d2 is more glorified expansion pack goodeness for all you blind lems.enjoyHow could he overlook that, geez, didn't he know every ps3 owner also has a top of the line PC with the latest graphics hardware...[QUOTE="themyth01"][QUOTE="789shadow"]

The game is running on a 5 year-old engine. It shouldn't be a hard game to run.
Precisely. My budget laptop ran L4D just fine. Some people have weird ideas about what is required to game on PC. Or perhaps inflated ideas about how powerful their console is...
That said my best friend who has a PS3, but an almost 5 year old Laptop, just bit the bullet and got a 360... and this is the game he wanted the most. Just because games aren't exclusive doesn't mean they don't offer a reason for people to purchase a console.

lol honestly, does Left 4 Dead 2 really need powerful hardware to run smoothly? Not really.

PS3 fanboys say they will play it on PC but obviously prefer consoles since all they do is bash everything but the PS3. Either way, buying it for the PC is supporting Microsoft which therefore is supporting the 360.

No, owning a PC is with a Windows OS is supporting Microsoft, buying games does not support Microsoft. It wont be coming to my PS3 but its 100% coming to my Xbox 360.carlisledavid79Ding ding ding ding ding, we have a wiener :P THis for me as well
I just finished the demo on Steam and I won't be missing out on much.
At least the game looks sort of nice maxed (as in somewhat primitive but 16xQ AA looks clean).
I'll just say, don't be fooled by the demo, it lacked a lot of the new content and funny narrative.I just finished the demo on Steam and I won't be missing out on much.

Not to mention the area they chose for the demo was kinda off-putting.
I feel like it's a love or hate game, some people find it ehh alright and some find it awesome. In all honesty I HATED the original L4D demo with a passion. I said why the hell not and gave it a shot. I was not disappointedI just finished the demo on Steam and I won't be missing out on much.

As much as I enjoyed the 1st one, I don't think I'll buy it for full price on either 360 or PC. Will wait for steam sale which will come eventually.
Well, the same can be said for the 360 while quoting Demon's Souls, Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, inFamous and Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time. Pwned.Left 4 Dead 2 is gonna make happy many Pc and xbox 360 owners. This is a million seller game, it's too bad it won't come to the sony console, too.

Are cows still hiding behind their imaginary high end rigs? .. Ah I love how you have no clue of what you are talking about, a typical lemming response. You know what the source engine is right? No? A 5 year old engine that basically a 9800 Pro could run smoothly without any problems. Why don't you do some research before embarassing yerself?[QUOTE="789shadow"]Are cows still hiding behind their imaginary high end rigs? .. Lulz, Pc's are imaginary now. Pfft all ps3 owners only surf and post in this forum with their PS3 internet browser.
Well it would seem like that going with his logic.

man u did pwn him...
and to add to it... xbots cant even make the argument that it requires a powerfull PC to play it as it uses the source engine! I mean I run it on absolutely full settings on my i7, but I can also run it on my brother's laptop and my family's Pentium 4 system at decent settings and FPS.
so yes... pwned indeed.
[QUOTE="MajorGamer531"]If you think that then I'd be questioning exactly how much you know about L4D compared to Borderlands. Because both have 'zombies' and are shooters so they are the same right? :?L4D's whole game style is a DLC patch for Borderlands...

I am quite aware of the differences in gameplay and environment. However, on the whole L4D2 does not seem like a complete sequel, and I am quite tired of the large number developers being lazy and sitting back on their last games' successes instead of continuing to move their franchies forward with newer experiences and innovations. There are still some developers pushing gaming to new heights and more power to them, but L4D2 looks like it is going to be more salt in an open wound irritated by rehash content being passed off as complete games with a 50-60$ price tag on it.
This is true.
Hate to be one of "those guys", but I'll be playing it on PC anyway. I wasn't impressed with how the first one looked or played on 360. Hopefully this one will have tighter controls, I hate that feeling of being on roller-skates in a shooter.

You can adjust friction in the steam console window.

Meh self? Relly? Okey. Although Cows that still use the PC as a scapegoat for titles missing in the PS3 library is still very funny in my opinion. :lol:Please Log In to post.
