Day one DLC confirmed.
Batman games don't warrant a $60 price tag. GOTY $29.99/19.99 at most.
Well then Steam is your BFF.
Fucking hell. Should I just wait for the GOTY edition of every game I want this gen?
Tired of this shit.
Like with Arkham Origins, I'll have no problems waiting for the inevitable GOTY Edition.
Isn't jason todd the red hood? Has that even been introduced in the Arkham games?

I had a feeling that since Tim Drake was Robin, Todd had already been Robin and died.

No it hasn't been, THey introduced tim drake as robin in AC, so it makes me wonder if the Red hood storyline happened between the games.

Yes. Everyone should. Then people would stop it with this crap.
@Animal-Mother: based on the link above I guess it occurs before Asylum, and is briefly referenced by the Joker
Ahh didn't read the link but know about the batman mythos.
I think they did a really good job with it in city, can't wait to see what they pull of for this. I hope it isn't a "red hood" type story. I mean they got to create a brand new villain in the DC universe.
They really have to knock it out of the park.
Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb.
We wish you would just blow up already so you can't post anymore.

Oh, why thank you.
@CrownKingArthur:
But da Red Hood!
tbh, i'd feel like i got hoodwinked with these pre order 'bonersers'.
Thanks consoles.
This, I hate this trend. Batman games are the worst too. By the time it comes to release, there's shit all over the place. This shop gives you this, another gives you something else.
It just adds to the list of ways they find to milk you and I hate the way they handle Batman games especially.
On a somewhat related note, I know they want DLC to maybe make up for 2nd hand sales or something, but they abuse it if you ask me. I mean story packs? If they're ready at launch, why are they not in the game?

Why? They are every bit as valuable as Battlefield and CoD games. They are some good stuff if i'm perfectly frank.
I'd believe you if I didn't know any better.
In addition, there is this other content coming to Batman Arkham Knight as well:
As a Batman fan, I'll definitely want the Red Hood, Harley Quinn, and Scarecrow DLC big time. I dislike having to pre-order to get two of these three Batman packs (Red Hood and Harley), but as a fan I'm kind of stuck as I just gotta have it. Warner Bros. already did this before so I'm not surprised, even the original Batman Arkham Asylum game had exclusive Joker missions for the PS3 at launch. I enjoyed those and had races with friends on that original Joker content way back then so I'm ready for this game in a big way.
Gotham falls victim to Scarecrow's fear toxin, transforming the famous city into a twisted, hellish nightmare in the Batman: Arkham Knight Scarecrow Nightmare Pack.Tear through the city in the all-new batmobile and face off against a towering vision of Scarecrow and his undead army as they spread terror on the streets, available exclusively on Playstation 4. (Playstation.com linky)
The one positive from this is that the Arkham Knight himself is hopefully now not going to just be a Jason Todd rip off. I was worried that's what they were going for, because Jason Todd without Red Hood is just dumb. Plus no Joker. Which is important to that story line.
The DLC in this case is before the events of Arkham City.
The only way I would buy a batman game is if Tetsuya Nomura's depiction of Batman was used. Have you seen it? It's freaking amazing, and I don't even like Batman that much.
I guess many of us are just gonna wait for steam to release this at a reasonable price instead of pre-ordering the damn thing to get some dlc. Or the GOTY version when that releases.

you mean this:
That last one kind of reminds me of when Azrael was Batman
