first, coffee stain studios had a 1 month game jam - the genesis of goat simulator (GS).

then - the people demanded this GS concept, but as a fully realized game.

eventually GS was released, and in return for fulfilling the wishes of the people, the people bought so many copies of the game it propelled itself to the #1 sales position on steam.

the people are happy. the devs are happy. and its coming to linux.

The lead of Coffee Stain was a gamespot user, had a decent amount of posts, nothing crazy though. I still remember him posting a realllly early alpha of the 1st Sanctum in the PC section looking for feedback. Props to these guys finding success.

I play on everything and this game definitely isn't one to be jelly about, that's for sure. It's more of an embarrassment then anything else. This is something the guys from "Jackass" show would make. LOL!! The game is hilarious, but I can see people getting bored with it after the novelty where's off.
