This was a BIG surprise. Game is great. But why is the melee attack on the cover button? errrrr.

[QUOTE="campzor"]Really? I might have to pick it up tomorrow. wait nevermind. I read the topic wrong lol.. nevertheless, 90% of my purchases have been games from prior years... so its not like i have a good selection of current year games to choose from. That being said, i might still stay with yakuza dead souls for the time being from everything else ive played..

I'm at work so can't post pictures...however, if I could, I'd be posting a picture of the SSX boxart round about now.-Grieves-Here ya go:
Yeah no games I've liked this year so it still goes to the only game I've been playing really. Though there are a few games coming in the next few months that could be good fun.
I'm going to go with this aswell.OreoMilkshake
Edit* The only games I have that released in 2012 are Kid Icarus: Uprising, Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword, Stacking*, and Xenoblade Chronicles.
*The PC version of Stacking was released on March 6, 2012.
Bought several games this year but don't really like anything and I'm back playing this from a decade ago. (just finished another 14 playthroughs and will probably start another soon... each playthrough can take from 15minutes to 20+ hours depending on the character) >_>
Lots of Max Payne love. I need to play it more. I was a little disappointed in it. After you do the sniiping area in the soccer stadium I kind of set it down and never got back to it.
Well glad to see TC not angry this time.
I haven't played any new games so far this year because I've been too busy with work and catching up on a back log, but I would say Mass Effect 3. Though I think AC3 will be the GOTY.
I just watched an awesome video of that game after seeing your post. I liked what I saw a lot. What is the first game called? I looked up "Dota" on Amazon and found nothing. Figured I would play the first one to catch up before Dota 2 releases. Looks like Diablo done right.Closets thing to boxart this game will have.

DotA 2 is getting made by Valve.
Defense of the Ancients
That is the Wikipedia link of the first game.

that part was awesome, how could you not pick it up again after that?
Nice to see all this praise for Guild Wars 2. The mmo genre needs a new champion, and I suppose Guild Wars 2 is a good candidate. Sure games like ArcheAge and the Repopulation looks a lot more promising than Guild Wars 2, but those games will never become the next big thing.
Only game I've bought that has come out this year
*Tales of the Abyss*
whiskeystrike
I have heard nothing but praise for that game, I really should go and get it.
