Assassin's Creed is one of those games you let slip through the cracks because it was just that unimportant.
[QUOTE="-PuLse"]PC, of course.goatblahLooks better on the PC but took me a while to set it up when it first came out. I'm sure its been patched by now though. Also if you get the PC version set aside a good half hour before you finish your gaming session, quitting the game is a challenge in its self ;) every herd of alt f4? the game run perfect with the 360 controller right away. just select x360 controller from the controls menu.
you can always plug in your ps3/x360 controller and it plays just like on consoles but with much better frame rate and graphics.PS3. I doubt you'll like it on PC with playing with the keyboard and such. Contollers are much much better,

PC for a tiny bit of extra content and better graphics
Console version (both PS3/360 versions are identical) for control.
But if you have a gamepad for your PC it should be no problem for you. If you don't though, you should give the console versions a try since I believe this game is all about controls. And this game is way too complicated to control on a PC (I've played it on PC as well as 360).
would matter of if you like Achievements or Trophies, if neither intrest you and it doesnt matter than its a toss up. I dont game on PC so I cant say anything there.Assassin's Creed is one of those games that I let slip through the cracks and I want to play it before the second game comes out.
I have all three consoles and a PC capable of playing Crysis at high settings. I'm about to pick up a copy of the game and I would like to know your opinions: PS3, 360, or PC?

pc is amazing for RPG's, shooters, and rts games, but it sucks for action-platformers.
the PS3 and 360 versions got pretty much the same score, so blu-ray is the tie-breaker.
- psp AC connectivity
- platinum trophy
- home items

None of which apply to Assassin's Creed 1.
I bought it on the PC a few weeks ago ($9 on Steam on sale), and it was worth it for that price. It plays well enough on the keyboard, and the PC version has the most content...so if you want to play it, that would be the best platform to buy it on.
PS3 of course, i only get exclusives for my 360 because i favor the trophy system over achievements.djsifer01
There aren't any trophies for the PS3 version of Assassin's Creed.
...and personally I prefer more content (the PC version) over achievements or trophies.
Well I was lucky enough to borrow my cousins ps3 recently. So I tried out AC on his ps3, it ran so badly compared to my 360 version. The framerate was so inconsistently bad it was hurting the game. Not only that but the popins were way more apparent, also it looks nowhere near as sharp as the 360 version.
I'm still a little shocked how it even got the same score (and even the score is debatable). I know its in the past now but its something to consider.
I'd pick the 360 version because I prefer my huge TV to my tiny 21 inch monitor.nethernova
I'd pick my PC becuase I know how to hook it up to my TV.
That TV exuse is so 1995.
I got the game for 10$ off Steam. I can use a 360 pad, keyboard, or my PS3 pad. I can play it on my 23 in monitor, or my 52 inch TV. Same wire.
If your pc is capable, 99% of the times that should be what you buy the game for.
PC>Consoles.
You know what's really funny?? Almost everyone is saying get it for the pc...however how come Assassin's creed sold a gazillion times better on the consoles? I mean if everyone prefers to get the pc version, why doesn't it show in the sales?? I'll tell you why because everyone here is a dirty pirate..
PC is superior to these people only because they can get it for free, that's the only reason.. pc gaming = fail.
I'll be getting the 360 version. Playing on pc is a very tedious thing, installing, patching, tweaking, customizing the graphics ntill your satisified...it'll be hours before I can finally enjoy a pc game. I mean I bought the witcher today and I'm installing it right now...it's been almost half an hour and it still hasn't finished.. No thanks.
