This is very odd? Will Seas of Thieves not be shown at the Conference, but after it?

Quite possible. E3 is now more than just 2-3 days of conferences. We're sarting today and only ending on the 14th with the big shows for example, it's quite possible devs/publisher will want some games to get their own showings instead of being grouped together with more games.

Just odd a first party exclusive would skip the E3 MS conference? Just me thinking they got another game by Rare to show?

Or they are using it to boost Mixer.

I'm gonna laugh if its Battletoads. They've been hinting at it for years but I don't think there are 10 people that actually want it.

If they're smart they would give Perfect Dark another shot.

Is anyone else surprised at the lack of leaks of the MS conference? I know a lot of it will be about Scorpio, but I'm talking games. Well hell even the price and release date of Scorpio hasn't been leaked. Other than Crackdown 3, and State of Decay 2, I have no idea what games they're going to show.

I'd buy a new Battletoads game. Though I would definitely prefer a new Perfect Dark or Conker's Bad Fur Day.

@primorandomguy: There's been a lack of major leaks for everyone this year, which I'm surprised about (though I didn't exactly look for them either).

All of the important information is no doubt only known by senior staff on the project, thus curbing leaks.

I'd wager there's only 3-4 people that actually know the price of this system.

MS conference leaked the day before the conference, last year. A security guard leaked it. I doubt that happen this year MS will lock it down this year.

Could be Fable? Or could be nothing? If it's a new IP all good!

@Desmonic: That's a good point. The only thing that got leaked was AC:Origins, and all the info on that. Everything else has been tight lipped. Which is good, I like surprises. Lol

Scorpio bringing the heat.

Reminds me of the NFL draft. People got sick of the leaks and video of players happy before the pick happens, so NFL told them to not show that shit until after. Obviously not the exact same case, but people like to be surprised. That suspense!

True! Last E3 wasn't as exciting, even though there was some cool stuff shown. Knowing about it beforehand just kills the hype.

That leak was pretty unfortunate although I wouldn't mind a few leaks at this point. haha

I have heard from numerous sources Xbox will not be showing VR at E3. Hope that is true and they save that for a different conference.

Also let's stop pretending the last 4 years were not all about power and resolution and digital foundry articles shoved in our face as well as casuals. Even though until now Sony hasn't put out any AAA games. I am looking forward to the narrative to change. Also just get back to games and the rest will work out.

Microsoft has been the best pro consumer console since 2014. Love that they continue to work on the dashboard and bar none the best online service with Xbox Live, Game pass, EA access, and now the best streaming experience with Mixer.

I'm so hyped for tomorrow's conference. It'll likely run longer then 90 minutes and they'll show off Sea of Thieves at a different showing. They should show off Scorpio, Forza 7, Crackdown 3, and some kind of Halo surprise, probably Cuphead as well. Still leaves lots of room for other surprises.

I played the Sea of Thieves alpha and trust me...no one should care about this game. It's good that they're not gonna waste time to show the game off.

Forza 7, State of Decay2, Crackdown 3, Cuphead and other indies montage, AC Origins, Shadow of Mordor sequel so far sure bets.

Hoping they have project Sody from Bioware and other internal IPs to share.

Remember Phil has said many times "do not preorder Scorpio til you see the games" That says confidence to me. And we are only in the starting phase of his picked games coming out since he took over.

I nor does anyone else have any reason to trust you on anything in any capacity.

@lifelessablaze: just got invited for this week's sessions, unfortunately no time to play. From what I've seen the gameplay looks fun, they just need to be able to put it in a decent context and storyline

They really need to announce a ton in order to make up for the slack in the past 7 years or so.

Hoping MS will roll out a big list of games they helped patch for the Scorpio. Not a huge deal, but to see some effort with existing titles would make an upgrade more enticing.

EA just announced Anthem, their new IP, which will debut at the MS conference.

It will probably look amazing on Scorpio.
