NPD 2022: Switch (1st), PS5 (2nd) and XBS (3rd)

The Nintendo Switch is still the best selling console in NA.

Thoughts? Any predictions for 2023?

It's honestly really hard to guess who ends up in the top 10 since there's so many AAA games releasing.

Interesting tidbits:

- Miles Morales charts top 10 YTD on PlayStation

- Callisto Protocol lands in #10 in Dec

- 5 out of the top 10 YTD games on PlayStation are made by PlayStation

- 3 Call of Duty games in the top 10 YTD for Xbox

- Pokemon dominates Nintendo's top 10 YTD

What kind of a person still buys Switches? I bet you its the kind of people that don't even know what's Call of Duty.

Imagine the budget that was invested into making a 137h long cgi movie. Now i feel like 6 awards wasn't enough, and makes me wonder if MS can even get close to what Sony has given us in the next 50 years.

I think cows are truly upset that the Switch is then gen 9 leader, and by a landslide. You can tell when they resort to looking at the 3rd place Xbox and deflecting on when it comes to the first place Switch.

Cows and Lems should just own and enjoy all the consoles. It's the best way to game!

no I'm saying god of war is not the only ps5 game that he could play. meaning his 100 hours or so is not because he has nothing else to play. saying he has so much to play yet ps5 only has god of war to play.

switch was made 100% to compete with ps4 and xbox one not the ps5 and series x.

I hope the switch is winning it launched in 2017 while ps5 and series x launched in 2020 with chip shortages until 2023. if it wasn't nin would of abandoned the switch like wii u.

funny if nin new system comes out this year let me guess it will compete with ps6 or series x 360? saying nin won gen 10. yet next gen will not come until 2028 or so.

yet switch 2 will be competing with ps5 and xbox series x.
