Nintendo making 3DS owners rebuy the wii virtual console

i actually like what sony did with the psp/PS3...

you should only have to buy these games once...imo

i thought if you buy a ps1 game on PSN then you can play it on both PSP and PS3...no?

im pretty sure nintendo said they would sell many NES games on the 3DS eshop....not just embassador games.

Portable version? VC runs on emulators, same as PSOne classics (thru on PSP they are not emulated), there actually 0 diffrence on stuff you download, same goes with Minis.

It is a shame. Just make sure you know in the future what games you want where. I'm fortunate that I haven't bought any VC titles on the Wii yet.

Do we know for sure if your Virtual Console purchases are able to transfered over to the Wii U?

Anyway, that's a lame move by Nintendo, there is no denying that, if i already have Punch Out on my Wii i should been able to have it on my 3DS as well.

You have Excitebike, Urban Legends, Kirby's Adventure, and Xevious on the 3DS eshop right now with 3D capabilities.

I hope they keep on doing that with Super Metroid and A Link to the Past.

Well that sucks. If Sony can do it with the PSP and PS3 then then Nintendo should be able to let us use our downloaded games on the DS. I guess the difference here is that with Nintendo's online you don't have to make an account.
