Nintendo confirms no new hardware at E3

Nintendo will not be revealing new hardware at E3, the company has confirmed to CVG.On Thursday reports emerged suggesting the corporation would announce a new platform, or a new iteration of a current platform, during the Los Angeles games event.CVGSo there will be no new Nintendo handheld or console at E3 this year. Looks like they will double down on 3DS and Wii U.

The PS3 already had 13+ million sales at this point in it's life. It also had a mega seller CoD4 and unlimited third party support. The Wii U's window of opportunity has passed. Its sales rate would have to at least double to even meet Game Cube lifetime sales
