Yeah, maybe it is. But their hardware is pretty weak vis-a-vis other handsets like galaxy s2. What keeps it up is the popularity and hence large selection of games on the app store. Personally I'd like games to be around the standard that the tegra 2 exclusive games show.

The PSP and the PS3 outsold it !!!! I dun know if Sony is happy or sad about it !

I really doubt that. iOS is like the Indy game scene. Some of the games are good, but it's hard to find the gems located in a big pile of coal. Mobile gaming gets no support at retail, and most parents do not want to buy their kids phones, let alone pay a monthly data plan for a device that is going to be used mainly for gaming.

This is even worse than the Knee jerk reactions for PS3's sales..

And now look, PS3 is going to pass Xbox 360 in Sales soon.

nah if you look in history over the past couple weeks we had a guy parading sony is dead because skyrim didnt work, then the xbox beat it in sales,then the whole Yahoo said sony is on bancruptch watch he posted a topic.

Doesnt take a complete rocket scientist to work out its more than likely him.

lol you guys are funny. There was no way the Vita was ever going to outsell the 3DS due to its higher price and focus on the more traditional gamer. The DS and 3DS sell more due to the lower price point and the fact that its marketed to the general public. So yes in comparison it's probably going to look bad but lets hear how Sony feels about the sales numbers. For all we know this could be a great success in their eyes.

Don't forget that the 3DS has a huge advantage that the Vita doesn't: children.

Tons of little kids buy the 3DS for stuff like the Mario / Zelda games, and for companies this is a big deal.

Why? Children don't pirate or rent games, providing the companies with massive sales margins (bigger than a core audience).
