That still doesnt look better than crysis. Where are th soft shadows and the character models are terrible compared to crysis. The koreans look s freaking life like.

Some of the tech behind Dead Island is pretty cool. Crysis could admittedly use some of this.

It's obviouse the guy hasn't played it yet as it's not out yet. How the hell could he know what the gameplay is like if he hasn't played it.

First, no. Nothing on consoles will come close to Crysis. This does look better than anything currently on consoles, though. Second, I really liked Call of Juarez, but it didn't do that well. Do not hype this.BioShockOwnz

That is a foolish statement. We are only 1 year into the PS3's life cycle and 2 years into the 360's. Does this game look as good as Crysis? Well it looks better then Crysis does at minium and about equal to it on medium. No it doesnt look as good on Crysis on High but its a good looking game and this dev isnt the king of visuals on consoles there are plenty of heavy hitters that have yet to be shown.

I'm a software engineer. I know the limits of hardware. The 360 hardware can not do that, period. The 360 version will be inferior, sorry :(

Unless you made a game for the 360 you would have absoutely no clue what it can and cannot do.

At first I thought that was some sort of new XMB theme :P

No its not second. It looks about as good as Crysis on Medium settings and I can name several console games that will blow this out of the water from a visual perspectve. Regardless take a look at this game do you honeslty think it will score abovea 6? I mean listen to how terrible the voice acting is and the AI it looks generic even the boxart looks bad.

Nope, Crysis has twice as much detail with the weapons. It is hardly passable for best graphics, Uncharted looks nicer then it for environmentsand UT3 has far more textures.DSgamer64
