8800GTX, with quad core runs thecrysis at 25 frames on PC. xbox 360 can't even handle that even if they optimized it for another 10 years.

The menu reminded me of the XMB. :P

Anyway, I think it has the same graphics as Crysis but it was too hard to tell since the video quality was terrible. I'll wait for more videos on this now that it has sparked my interest.

Not even close. The only game with a legitimate chance of dethroning Crysis as graphics king is Project Offset. The PC version, of course.

Its not as good in graphics but its close but the gameplay looks like a sucky mix between COD4 and Time Spliters maby a little of Halo.meetroid8

Yeah the gunplay or gun mechanics whatever you want to call it were no where near the level of Crysis, but maybe thats just my opinion.

Project Offset looks amazing to bad the dev team is so small. Also its gonna take a LOT i mean A LOT from a dev team to build a game that is as big, physics intensive, and graphically impressive as Crysis. An a few intel and nvidia engineers too lol.

I just can't wait till they release the first patch and nvidia releases new drivers. They said with EVERY new driver and patch there would be performance improvements. While my OC 8800GTX can play it nearly very high now I wouldn't mind playing with some AA lol. But yeah I am amazed how Crytek played their cards. Build an engine that TRULY scales 1 to 2 years and then instead of making a new engine for Crysis 2 be like pop and there it is the next gen graphics all over again. Too bad my 8800 GTX wont play at Ultra.

O I totally understand and thats alright with me I am one of those who are completly happy with how well a game like Crysis Runs. It will be awesome to see what they do for Crysis 2 & 3.

Cryengine 2 still has a lot under its belt, too, that modders are going to unearth. Here's a pic I took today from a beautiful custom Crysis map I downloaded off crymod.com:

Crysis will be on top for a while. Also, I hate it when games call themselves the "Insert game here" killer. Killzone was the Halo killer, and now this. Basically what that means is that this new game is using Crysis as a temjplate for its game, which is dumb and derivative, and it shouldn't be corrupting our gaming integrity.

Crysis rules.

I have one question to ask, I wonder if people who has played Crysis are doing like what the guy showed for Warhound? I mean shooting trees instead of enemies.

What amazes me how he shot the trees above the falls with rocket launcher, like he is some kind of pro "I can shoot trees from a distance, Im better than Bruce Willis in Die Hard series"

There is something I've noticed when he picks up weapons, look at the table, you will laugh at the graphics.

I don't think you can judge the game right now, crysis looks better but it does come close

looks pretty good... however the one thing I noticed is there is no non player caused movement of vegetation. Crysis' trees, bushes, plants are always swaying gently or more wildly in a realistic manner depending on the situation. (wind, chopper landing, explosions etc. Also I dont know if its the quality of the video or not, but what about depth of field and motion blur? And another thing, no actual picking the weapon up? just press a button and it instantly is usable in your inventory. :lol:

last but not least, cameras make graphics on screens look a lot better than they do to your own eye.

Game looks good. Very Crysis-esque--Not quite as good looking as Crysis but it looks as though it can rival it on "High" settings. Will need clearer videos and screens to judge to a greater accuracy.

I'm not complaining though. There are alot of FPS (and games for that matter) from the would-be PC-only developers that are making their games 360/PC multiplatform.

There are clearer videos on Gametrailers, like this one. Warhound is a poor man's Crysis at the very best. And that's probably an overstatement. Far Cry 2 looks a lot better than this game.

k now I see the depth of field, but no motion blur. Also, the weapon models and the way the army holds the gun looks horrible. The explosions look meh too.

I dont care what version it is it looks freaking gorgeous, and it is in its early dev stages, the gameplay needs help though.

EDIT: that is defenately xbox version also, the guy is infront of the tv with a controller in hand and the reticle movement isnt sudden, it takes time to move across the screen.
