As for the last part, someone said anime characters would ruin Smash Bros. Anime characters have been in it since day one. What is the difference between an anime character and an anime character? Do the like 500+ Pokemon anime episodes and like 8+ anime movies somehow not count as anime? Does Pikachu's few hundred hours of anime appearances not count?

Senor_Kami

Pokemon was a game first; Also Nintendo owns that IP. Smash Bros. should be Nintendo Characters only.

I'm ok with some 3rd Party aslong as they were in a Nintendo game like Pacman (Mario Kart Arcade GP 1 and 2) or if Nintendo owns the developer now like KOS-MOS and Kalas both developed by Monolith Soft when they were owned by Namco-Bandai.

I'm okay with Namco if they bring their online expertise to the table since Soul Calibur V has terrific online. I'd be perfectly fine with Capcom as well since they're the experts with 2D fighting games.

[QUOTE="campzor"]capcom are better fighting developers. Should have gone with them (and use their characters for 3rd party entries too)Demonjoe93

If they did that we would have gotten a bunch of on-disc DLC and other BS Capcom likes to pull.

its a nintendo ip. They have control on whether there will be on disc dlc or whatever. NOT capcom

Namco has better developers for the genre. Nintendo chose well.
