MS wins if Rare Replay counts, if not then Sony easily.
Rare replay is not likely a "remaster" but is a collection or ROMS that are running through an emulator. I'm not sure if any single game in that collection is actually a remaster. Although it's a very cool collection of games.

Ah then yeah, Sony by a country mile
Microsoft's remakes are actually remakes, which is always nice. They make games feel more up to date at the cost of going at ends with the original game's direction, whether in art, gameplay design, etc. It's usually nothing egregious, but that Gears Ultimate Edition art style... Ugh.
Sony's remastered games are usually like whatever. At least they have a much larger library to remaster so the lesser work at the result of more modern, true to original remasters isn't the worst trade off. I don't know why they don't hand them all off to Bluepoint though, thanks to other companies games like Jak and Daxter Collection on Vita will be forever horrible.
Well MS actually remake the games, Sony tend to port, upscale and add trophies. Both are welcome, but full remakes > ports, so MS wins.
its kind of funny.
3 games from this MS list are gen 6 games.
Sony remastered/ported all they're gen 6 games on the PS3.
And it is kind of funny he doesn't put the whole MCC along with Halo 3 and 4.

what MS remakes are you talking about? everything they have done is a remaster
Fable Anniversary, Halo Anniversary, Master Chief Collection, and Gears Of War.

the only game on that list that is a remake is Halo Anniversary. the rest are remasters
My favorite overall would be the Halo MCC on Xbox One, and on the Sony end the Ico-SoTC remaster on PS3. About the only last gen remake of a 1st party game I'm most concerned about is a Motorstorm collection on PS4. I was disappointed in Sony regading the God of War remasters/collections, the first one of the first two games on PS2 was an awful lazy port, and it really bugged me they didn't rework the per-rendered cutscenes to match the visual quality of the realtime gameplay. They botched the PS Vita port (so I hear) and the modern remaster they're doing is God of War 3, my least favorite of the whole series. My ideal idea of a God of War collection would be to create one standard body of visual assets to span the entire series to date, and make it consistent across all the games. That to me would be a collection worth buying (again!!).

You are wrong, I'm afraid.

actually im not wrong... you could look for yourself if its not too hard for you
Microsoft actually puts time into completely redoing the graphics of their remasters which is 90% the point, so they get the win by default, this is not even a debate.
Shame they don't put time and effort into getting them fully functional.
I'll take the excellent Sly, Jak and Ratchet collections any day.

Would love to hear your definitions of a remake and a remaster.

Regardless of the multiplayer problems, even if The Master Chief Collection didn't have a multiplayer component the amount of effort and the result of what they put into their remasters is second to none.

Games full of bugs is second to none? lol ok.
Fable Anniversary got very mixed reviews whilst MCC is the biggest failure yet for the Xbox One, at least the Sony remasters actually worked and got good graphical upgrades when they hit the PS3, TLOU even got a full framerate boost alongside better visuals.
Sony wins again.

Seriously whatever dave, if you can't see the technical superiority and work put into Microsoft's remasters then I just don't care, you're delusional anyways. But don't come here peddling that Sony bullshit, framerate increase, resolution increase and higher resolution textures are not impressive, rebuilding games from the ground up is.

Lol you're the delusional one mate and always have been, rebuilding a whole game means jackshit if the final product is a broken pile of mediocrity, reviews said that Fable sucked and that Halo was full of issues.
As usual, Sony Won.
@Flubbbs: The assets are totally redone. Be less retarded.

Lionhead even refers to that game as a remaster on their website. learn to post pictures and be less retarded
What does something being labeled as a remaster have to do with a change in assets?
MS by far. MCC is the best remake between the two. It launched full of issues, but once those issues were fixed it was truly worth the wait.
lol
Who ever thought remaster king would be an actual thing?
I bet by next gen we'll have micro transaction king. "My favorite company screws me better than your favorite company!"
Halo CE online coop has serious lag issues but the graphic update is nice. Halo 2 from MCC has also had issues I probably don't have to go into, but it's mostly fixed now. Never played Fable Anniversary so I can't fairly judge that. I played the gears beta and while the gameplay feels slow by today's standard, the update to the graphics are good in spots, ugly in other spots, but overall a nice looking game.
TLOU I never played the original but from what I can tell, the graphics were barely changed. Uncharted collection amd uncharted collection ice seen very little of so I can't say, but I'd give the nod to MS for the graphical updates.
Are we comparing the remaster jobs, or the games themselves that happen to be remastered? Cause TLOU and God of War just got little improvements to the graphics, nothing else looks to be changing though. And I feel like ND is kinda half-assing for not throwing multiplayer into their Uncharted collection.
Then on the other hand, I don't play Gears so I don't know what changes are being made to that. It's my understanding though that it's just a paint job? I enjoyed the remastered Halo 2- especially the cutscenes, and the remastered multiplayer maps. Unfortunately the collection still had broken multiplayer, and still has many glitches nowadays from my experiences. It also needs Reach to feel complete. And the one feature it's missing but not many seemed to notice/care was a music player- would have loved that feature to decide what halo tune i was listening to in the menus and while multiplayer was loading.
lol

Only Sony Remasters matter. M$ Remasters prove they have no games. Sony makes Remasters because they care!

didn't they just remove the online portion for the uncharted remaster... I'd rather have something not working day one and be fixed soon after than, well it doesn't work so lets just remove the feature...

They did indeed remove it, not a loss imo since I never played the online. I'd rather have a working game than a buggy mess with terrible online issues.

So basically your ignoring the fact that we had halo 1-4 working perfectly fine, and their attempt to consolidate the entirety of the online portion of the games into a single game and having some launch issues to be worse than having uncharted 1-3 with the online completely removed...
Basically MCC > Uncharted collection because the one component that didn't work for the MCC was completely removed from Uncharted... Halo 1/2 basicallly having a graphics overhaul... the base collection single player wise is still better than the uncharted collection, and on top of that ODST was thrown in for free for the online blunder.
