This is not graphics, this is pure unadulterated realism. please ignore crysis's alien bits only the first half please.

I still say crysis. ARMA 2 has awesome headbob and some cool things but its so unpolished. The effects and particles and physics ( a huge deal) make crysis gun fights so much better and more realistic. Arma2 practically has no physics and almost no AI. I really want the game to be good but im unsure now. The AI doesnt seek you out at all, it just spots you unrealistically and fires with pinpoint accuracy.
why just because it has amazing graphics does not mean it is realistic.Than maybe you should take Crysis out??

That's what he said. :|
Have you played it? The AI is very good. VERY good. They don't shoot with pinpoint accuracy, the jeeps are just able to find you and light your area up. I played a 6 player coop game yesterday and after blowing up an APC in a town, the AI chased us all the way through the forest. It was amazing. The bullet physics in ArmA 2 are way better. You have to account for weather and bullet drop off.I still say crysis. ARMA 2 has awesome headbob and some cool things but its so unpolished. Killzone2? Crysis? :D Is this a joke thread? The contenders this gen are SWAT4, Red Orchestra, Arma1/2 and PC versions of GRAW 1/2, also one could throw in Insurgency and Project Reality mods
And the winner is Arma2 easily.
Crysis is about a guy in a whole unit of guys who wear super-suits that can turn invisible and throw people through buildings fighting million year old alien robots. Killzone 2 is about an invasiontaking place on a planet similar to venus, fighting against a whole bunch of semi-humans in gasmasks.
I think I'm going with ArmA 2 here.
I don't think any shooter game can be "realistic", when your movements and actions are relegated to a few buttons...enterawesomeMOST realistic. Not fully realistic, obviously.

SWAT was out before the 360.
Just few months and add-on for SWAT4 was out after 360 launched :DNone of those are realistic. The shooters that are truly realistic sell like crap because it is hard as hell.rybe1025you obviously didn't play Arma. And realistic games that are hard as hell actually have history of selling very well on PC, just because they sell like crap on consoles doesn't mean it's the same on PC
ArmA 2. The length Bohemia have gone to make that game true to life is amazing. For example, the trajectory of a bullet can change slightly when you shoot through glass, and 50cal shots can pierce through the corners of buildings. Not to mention bullet drop and wind resistance.
you obviously didn't play Arma. And realistic games that are hard as hell actually have history of selling very well on PC, just because they sell like crap on consoles doesn't mean it's the same on PCwell I do not know the sales of Arma but in general they do not sell like say a CoD, Half Life, Halo or whatever.
None of those are realistic. l almost don't believe you have played the game, but l guess you don't understand how it works. Anyways, ArmA 2 then, ArmA 1, then Crysis, then Killzone 2, from that list. But there is obviously Red Orchestra, etc. that would be thrown in between ArmA 1 and the rest.I still say crysis. ARMA 2 has awesome headbob and some cool things but its so unpolished. Operation Flashpoint sold better on PC than Halo did, better than majority of modern FPSes do actualy and quite close to CoD4 sales, despite having nowhere near the ammount of marketing campaign that either of those had.
None of those are realistic. Ultra realistic racing sims also sell better than arcade racers on PC
Flight sims that require weeks of study also sell better than simple flight shooters.
Killzone 2 defiantly, your in Denial to say otherwise The Weapons have Weight and they shoot like real life guns too I should know I've shot Real Guns in my day.
Whats this ArmA? I've never heard this game before, Therefore it doesn't count.

ArmA 2 I guess. Fighting aliens isn't exactly realistic.
Silverbond
How do you know it isn't realistic? Have you ever fought an alien before? :o If not, then don't make these ridiculous claims. Everybody knows that one has to fight an alien first to know if it is realistic or not

It could happen someday. Ofcourse I voted ArmA2 though.Arma, Arma II, Red Orchestra the other titles are not actually realistic nor do they try to be. Fail thread is Fail.
Killzone2 by far i think.n00bkid
guess you aint played ArmA 1 or 2 those are good, but gonna wonder how Flashpoint 2's gonna hold up agains them.
Why the HELL is Crysis and Killzone 2 there?
Did you really have to pad your poll to pander damn fanboys?
ArmA 2 without a doubt, following that ArmA - on the polls. Otherwise Red Orchestra should be included, among few others.
Its not even a contest, this is just silly....
