Microsoft E3 2019 to be longest ever

Xbox Brazil revealed that it's going to be 2 hours long.

Sony might have a movie game or two for the Soccer Moms and reviewers who want to transition to movie reviews for the better pay and respect.

MS are actually in a solid position for this E3. We know they've been snapping up studios, and there are games that are now further along in development to show. I'll be interested to see how they do.

That's good since they have E3 to themselves they can show as much as they want. Hopefully it's not full of fluff. I'm pretty sure a good 20 minutes of their conference will be about their next gen console and xcloud.

There will be games for sure. But I predict most will be hardware and cloud talk. They're probably going to announce the next gen Xbox consoles. I bet they can't wait to put Xbox One behind them.

Either way, I'm looking forward to everyone at E3 2019. I know MS will put out a good show indeed.

I'm the same, I've never been more hyped for E3.

MS really needs a win this time around. I think we all are getting tired of MS getting humiliated all this time, it's time to shake things up as far as competition goes.

Yeah, should be a good show... Xbox and Nintendo are the main ones I'm looking forward to.

@FinalFighters: Yeah, but how long is each segment though. You have announcement for games and then you have companies of said games discussing about their games and then you might have game play of said games also. Then you have Game Pass doing their own announcements of what games will be available on their service for the next two months or so. Then you got announcements of partnerships that Xbox maybe doing and some talk about their new studio and other studios that they aquire. Then they will talk about ID@Xbox about the games that will be releasing from the program. Trailers from multiple games from the program. Maybe some small talk about the companies behind those games. Some information about their mobile games like Gears Pop and Minecraft Earth. Than a discussion about Xcloud. Talks about their game engine Slip Space. Announcement of their next gen console followed by a montage at the end. Now I'm not saying that all of this will be present, it's just a guess, but if so how much time will each of these will be given within the time frame?

Can't wait to see announcements for announcements. Yay, for 2 hours. I am mega excited ?

@xantufrog: Personally I think Sony and Microsoft have done a good job of cutting down fluff in their recent conferences. That's been very positively received so I doubt that Microsoft would rescind on that this year.

All of them say this every year. Its going to be 80-90 minutes guaranteed, just like every time.

For me, E3 begins and ends with the big Xbox show. Even the big 3rd party publishers who hold their own E3 conferences save a big announcement for Microsoft’s show.

From past experience, there is such thing as too long a show. Let's hope they keep fluff to a bare minimum.

MS need to have a very good e3 there's no excuses for not delivering. The studios have been in place for a while now and have time to work with ms on what direction they want to go. I hope it isn't a drawn out show with lots of filler.

I want to see what Playground have been making for the last 18 months, and see if it is the rumoured Fable game or if its something else. Either way there is absolutely no excuse for MS to not show something.

With the show being allegedly 2hrs should mean more games and an almost guarantee they will be showing the new Xbox in some form.

Playgrounds fable reboot if it is indeed a fable game at all. Ninja theory's new game sounds interesting.

It's over this gen. Gamers overall don't care about Xbone. What MS can try to do now is aquire more new studios and try to actually make good new IPs, and set up something better for next gen. This gen is done for them.

Watch Gears and Halo have a shit ton of cutscenes. Hours and hours of it.

I hope a good hour of that is thier steaming service. With working examples... maybe a beta announcement. Maybe cross platform with PC and Xbox.

Honestly, all I care about right now is them not screwing up Age of Empires 4. It's being made by the Company of Heroes devs so that puts me at ease a bit, but it's still MS.

I expect MS to come out swinging next gen like they did with the 360.
