Which will win 2015? I'm going to go with MGS 5. Kojima is bat shit crazy and always finds a way to entertain and charm me in some weird way. What about you, SW?

Dont discount Arkham Knight, a game only being made for gen 8 consoles and PC. Well except for WiiU..lol

They are all heavy hitters but only one will reign. The mighty Halo 5.

The documentary is up on Xbox Live about the making of Halo 2 and it's remaster along with elements of the MCC and Halo 5. A must watch but it also places the magnitude of what Halo is and what it will be.

Zelda, But all of them are goat level must monster superstar games but halo is out of place sitting beside roster of games listed. Halo does what it dose and is an AAA series but when was the last time a halo game was even nominated as GOTY contender?

Should have replaced Halo with Bloodborne to be perfectly honest instead of listing that to make xbox fanboys happy. If you look at the list all have been huge GOTY winners with past games or GS GOTY winners but Halo. Halo is the only one that doesn't fall into that category, Demon's Souls was the GS 2009 GOTY, the makers on Bloodorne.

That reminds me, GeOW has won GOTY, is it supposed to come out in 2015? What would be a more acceptable nomination for the list.

I don't understand the appeal of Halo at all. The first one was great, but it's been the same old shit ever since.

Fighting the same goddamn enemies, with the same goddamn weapons, playing as the same goddamn boring Master Chief.

Was there even a slight difference between Halo and Halo 2 besides being able to dual wield?

And what was the difference in Halo 3? That you're fighting the Covenant on Earth? Because otherwise, it felt like the same old shit.

Even all of the endings were basically the same, making your escape via Warthog from a planet that's about to explode.

I didn't even bother playing Halo 4 because...well...why the **** should I?

The Metal Gear franchise is dead. Kojima is just milking the rotting corpse these days. Shouldn't be on any list.

Going by recent history the obvious likely candidate is Uncharted 4. But Nintendo might very well return to their glory days and amaze everyone with the next Zelda.

Bloodborne and Xenoblade Chronicles X are two other possibilities.

Not sure why Arkham Knight or Halo 5 are even on the list other than filler.

@Zelda187: You literally described Uncharted in a nutshell, Uncharted 1 2 and 3 are literally the same game with a new coat of paint and a different set piece. Naughty Frauds added absolutely no new mechanics in any of the Uncharted games and if it wasn't for the increase in visuals you wouldn't be able to tell any of the games apart

At least Halo added new mechanics to each game and you only escape in a Warthog in Halo 1 and 3, that's 2 out of the 5 main titles.

When you play Uncharted 4 you'll be playing the same game as the first 3, running through set pieces flailing your arms around like a jackass, sneaking up on terrible enemy AI, breaking up with Elena between games and getting back together with her for the 3rd or 4th time. Uncharted is almost as big a fail as Metal Gear Solid is.

Because Arkham City was the highest rated game of 2011 and has a better chance at GOTY than the other titles do.

Ironically Metal Gear Solid as a series has won fewer GOTY awards than the other franchises here, it's the weakest contender by far.

Arkham Knight will win GOTY as Rocksteady is the best developer

Uncharted/Halo and Zelda are all a toss up since we haven't seen any new gameplay footage of them. If they are similar to Halo 2/3, Uncharted 2 and Zelda OOT instead of Halo 4,Uncharted 3 and Skyward Sword then all 3 will be damn good games and contenders for GOTY.

MGSV comes in dead last as it has a niche fanbase and no longer has the hype of being a systems first major exclusive.
