Looks like PC games are fully forced on Windows 8.

**** YOU MICROSOFT INDEED.

Today I booted up my Xbox 360 to play some Red Dead: Redemption, but it won't let me sign in unless I give them my phone number. And it gets worse I can't save my games or load saved data unless I sign in on Xbox Live.

So Microsoft you're telling me that if I don't have an Xbox Live membership, my Xbox 360 is just a useless plastic?

Using windows isn't really that big of a deal. It's not like consoles have a choice of their OS anyways

Stupid TC is stupid. Nowhere in that article does it say that MS will stop supporting Win7 and nowhere does it say that games will require Win8 to run.

I never said the first part of your sentence only your second. I also never said that all games require windows 8. I said "a lot" do.

Show me a list of games that require Win8 to run. Don't include games that also run on Win7 as well.

Asphalt 8: Airborne

Dungeon Hunter 4

Total Conquest

Six Guns

Kingdoms & Lords

4 ELEMENTS II SPECIAL EDITION

ADERA: EPISODE 1, 2, AND 3

RECKLESS RACING ULTIMATE

And these are just a handful.

So a small list of games then....

and none I've ever even heard of

I honestly think Windows 8 is not that bad.

I've yet to have a single issue with it, runs great.

Just press B. You don't need to enter your phone number to sign-in.

EDIT: You won't be able to change any of your account information until you add the extra security steps, but you can cancel out of that screen and continue using your XBL profile.

SOURCE: My rant at XBL support asking why they require a phone number for me to add to my download queue from a browser.

I know, but they ask you the same thing each time you boot up the system. Kind of like how Google asks you to link your Google+ account to youtube every single time you try to post a comment.

Hmm building a PC and after Windows 8 I'm seriously considering going Linux.
