Pretty much what I expected here at GS. I really want this game but I think I'll wait during the holidays. Plus I also want DK Retuns more then Epic Yarn.

The complaint is more than reasonable though. I can understand if many people won't have a problem with it, but if the game truly feels that easy, I can understand where the reviewer is coming from; that said, you can tell he loved the game.

Yeah Gamespot's praise at E3 and in reviews is stupidly inconsistent. Last year Scribblenauts was the GOTS and it got an 8.0. I mean we can all say it was a good idea with bad controls but they knew about the problems at E3! Of course it's just one critic at GS, the rest of the staff might like it much more.

I'm with everyone who expected this to get a 9.0 here.
Most likely is the length of the single player that held the score back. But a great game nonetheless and something to keep Wii users busy for a while.

Was there any hype? There was no real hype thread but everyone pretty much guessed 8.5. Some said AAA, some said lower, but the general consensus was 8.5 So it pretty much met hype.
