ME, for example, is nearly hyped high AAAAA so I think you should just take it easy if you don't want two weeks of forum pollution.

And even if the game reaches the hype, what do you think is better?

A- Hyping it as an average game and it turns out to be an awesome game.
OR
B- Hyping it as an awesome game and that's what it is.

Personally, I think A is WAAAAY better than B

Man... but don't you understand this is for your own good and it would make the game even better? The EXACT SAME THING could be said about FF13, MGS4 and SSBB but I can guarantee you that if I chose a PS game, 90% of the replies would be ''LMAO Mowtahflop flopped omgzzor get over it''

Excitement =/= hype. Hype is the score prediction (in SW). You can be excited as much as you want but just don't hype it too much cuz you'll ruin the game

"Only" and "always" are big words there. Those words are wrong about hypes. And it isn't the hype which make it worse, it the fanboys that bash the games.

I don't know why lemmings are saying this game is sure fire high AAA. I do agree that the game looks great and has a good chance of being AAA, but I also think it has a good chance of being high AA. If you look back, a Bioware game has never scored higher than a 9.2, low AA, on Gamespot. So I want to know why many of yall think this game will break the 9.6 barrier like a lot of lemmings saying it will. Please don't flame because my flame shield is being repaired at the moment.

timesplitter14 you might want to make yourself scare once the review for ME is posted.  This is the kinda thing that can come back to haunt you.  Haters get owned for underhyping just as much as fanboys get for overhyping.  Go to Gamevideos.com, put Mass Effect into the search, and watch with an open mind.

Now you obviously don't understand what I'm saying. I never thought ME will flop. NEVER. And I think it'll reach it's hype. I'm also waiting to play it. But hyping it too much just isn't good and it can't even help the game a bit. BTW I've never seen fanboys owned for underhyping their games, it's more the opposite.

Well I'm just saying that they shouldn't hype that much because hype doesn't mean anything. Only the final score does. So imo SW would be better without 100 simmilar threads about how a game flopped

Well still, alot of people won't listen to that. There still will be hype threads for Mass Effect, SSBB, MGS4, and more. So don't think this topic is going to change that.
