Perhaps it is because of the drought of games then. Has 360 seen any major releases since Ninja Gaiden II (a game that is far from casual-friendly might I add)? I reckon Tales of Vesperia hasn't released in the states either, or?

Yeah, I just figured the fact that 360 had a price drop combined with the on-again-off-again supply of the 80 GB MGS4 bundles would mean that 360 would definitely outsell the PS3 this month. Brand Strength FTW maybe?

its pretty safe to assume that 555,000 people in the U.S. last month care about the Wii

I think it's a known fact that the Wii is outselling everyone here. We know that. Why talk about it everytime? We know it. The PS3 vs. 360 is more interesting though, but I think everyone can agree the Wii will win. No need to say it for every month for the past 2 years now when NPD comes.
