just wondering about all this 'japan hates american products' thing, do they not love the ipod? obviously the 360s library simply
does not fit their needs its not just national loyalty is it? ps3 is hardly even selling there either.-SR388-

I think if there were a product made by the japanese with similar appeal to the ipod they'd shun the ipod straight away.

i thought sony make and sell their own mp3 player? ;)

Did it outsell the ipod in Japan? I woudln't be surprised. The only reason the ipod grew so big is because nearly every teen and college student in US bought one.

Because Japan's a purdy place to live in:

Tokyo

Tokyo > The world

hongkingkong

Looks like the projects in Chicago

speaking of purdy places:

 Haha that's nothing. behold:

Once City Center is finished, it will be the most advanced metropolis in the world.

after 10+ years of Japanese gaming CEO telling us how important Japan is, some people just bought into it hook line and sinker...

prob is; the market percentages don't support japan's importance.

if it was there would be more western devs making japanese games, but it's the japanese developers who are making games for the western market.

Slot machines are considered "advance"?

You obviously haven't been to Las Vegas, Vegas is the first to use the latest technology and will be the first to use Windows Surface although there is already a version of it being used by restaurants and hotels. City Center will also have a different and more futuristic style architecture, along with new monorails, this city has nothing to envy any other city in the world.

Well if video games and anime have taught us anything, Japan will one day be destroyed by giant robots so I'd stay away from there.

Without Japan....there wouldn't really be anything excicting to look foward to in gaming.

MGS

NG

DMC

FF

VF

Blue Dragon

Resident Evil

Naruto

Kingdom Hearts

Rouge Galaxy

Dragon Quest

Mario

Zelda

Ico

katamari

Dark Cloud

Star Ocean

Dragon Quest

Shidoken

Monster Hunter

Street fighter

Fatal fury

King of the Fighters

Pokemon

SSB

Shim Megai Tensen

Valkyrie Profile

....etc etc and on and on

ALL THESE SERISE AND GAMES WERE CREATED AND DELIVERD FROM THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN!

japan > what ever place you'd try to argue for in their place.

Honestly the only game I'm looking foward to on xbox360 is Trusty Bell.  Japan is essencial for gaming to succeed.  Without them gaming would dry up and die. THREAD/

Japan has the best games developers. I don't actually care for the people of japan in general.
