Is Bloodborne the ps4's masterpiece

I always hated playstation, I will never forgive them for murdering sega and gving us crap underpowered consoles .

I hate their japanese oriented games , where the background music consists mainly out of women singing, women that sound like stray cats looking to get laid.

I hate their controllers, their horrible network and system support but sometimes their first party devs teams (or devs with console exclusivity) make something magical like demon souls, gran turismo or metal gear solid.

or in this case bloodbourne. I might actually buy a ps4, just for this game

But yes, Bloodborne should move some units to a point. It's a new ip so it's no halo in the system selling department, but with a marketing push from Sony it should do well.

The ps4 is already selling itself without any games, don't need bloodborne as a system seller

In a way yes, once you play it there's nothing else to play so you sell the system.... Now that's a system seller baby. :P

So you hate Sony for "murdering" Sega, while at the same time bemoaning them for releasing "crap underpowered consoles", even though they've released the most powerful console for two generations in a row? Even the PS2 was more powerful than the Dreamcast.

It came to PC. And Metal Gear has never been a first party-developed game. MGS4 is the only game to remain totally exclusive to PS3 and even that was developed by Kojima Productions and published by Konami.

I won't buy a PlayStation 4 for Bloodborne, but I'll buy Bloodborne when I get a PS4.

@commander: dude, MGS has never been a first party developed game. It was on PC all those years back and the HD collection came to the 360.

It was associated with Playstation because development back then was more focused on 1 single platform.

With the new era and the FOX engine, MGS5 is full blown multiplat.

Just like GTA, Final Fantasy, etc

if I had a PS4 I'd buy the game because AAA releases have been so slow but I hardly find the appeal in the Souls series and this game. I need more story and characters with a bit more personality.

It looks good but I don't think it'll sell many consoles (not that it needs to) it isn't catering to casuals so I can see people getting turned off. I don't mind a challenge, I just don't like the Souls games because I think they're boring.

Haha i hope it meets the hype (which is currently floating around 9/10). I've had a PS4 for almost four months and have yet to power the damn thing on. Every other game I've wanted to play has been released on PC as well.

As for a masterpiece, we'll only know after we finish it.

I buy bloodborne because i love from software games and its the first big exclusive game for PS4 40+ hours gameplay with new game plus keep me busy for long time

I'm sure Bloodbourne will be a great game. I've enjoyed every Souls game before it, so this shouldn't be any different. In fact, I will be truly shocked if this game flops..

My personal system seller would be The Last of Us 2 (I love me some zombies). But, I already own a PS4 since launch.
