@AzatiS:
Mario kart looks great, as does smash. I play mario kart so frequently that when I eventually got around to trying gta5 it felt sluggish.

I feel like I have the ps4 that doesn't have terrible load times on bloodborne... Or maybe I'm just too busy saying "Bloodborne!" in a menacing way (think Paul Bearer of WWF fame http://s1.ibtimes.com/sites/www.ibtimes.com/files/styles/v2_article_large/public/2013/03/06/paul-bearer.jpg?itok=FoZ0hAHJ ) to even notice.... Its maybe at most 30 seconds for me.
I get some weird stutters in audio all over Old Yharnham though and it drives me a little nuts.
Ha, man, I don't even know how long mine is, but damn, it takes ages.
I've had the same thing happen here too. In Old Yharnham. Wonder what that is about.
There's a difference between "Still works" and "is ideal". 30fps always has and always will work, but 60 is far and away better and more ideal

Mario Kart and Smash are not even close to what someone can call graphical peak in 2014/2015. Period . Its the opposite actually. These kind of graphics would have been a joke for PS4 to make it even on 100fps .. The question here is ... what Wii Us performance would be on titles like Witcher 3 , MGS 5 etc ? Those games are pushing hardwares. Lets not even think about it. Ill be playing those titles on 1080p/60fps at least on my PC and i dont mind to wait for them as long as ill get the supreme experience.
Kart and Smash are all about awesome level design and art. Nothing more ... Something really easy to do ( depends the developer but still ) and nothing really hard to achieve as far as frames per second goes.
As for GTA5 , sorry bro , ill get the experience on PC , 1200p/60fps at least so ... Thats what PC is all about.

I timed a few recent loading times, from Forbidden Woods to HD (Hunter's Dream) it was 11 seconds, HD to Central Yarnham 45 seconds, Central Yarnham to Hunter's Dream 35 seconds.
It's all over the place. And at one point while sprinting through Forbidden Forest there was literally no ground, it took about 10 seconds to load in...
Although i imagine that graphical fidelity would take a massive hit if released as a 60fps console game, I think a game that's designed to be hard should give the player more precision than offered in 30fps games. I know it isn't a competitive fighting game, though the slightest fraction of a second can still make significant differences if the game is really frickin' hard.
Here's a video I just uploaded of Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First Sin in 1080p 60fps.
Go ahead. Tell me how 60fps isn't good for a game like Bloodborne or Darksouls for that matter.
it's like a buzz clipping sound that pops up... Frame rate drops during those moments too.
Yup. It's exactly that. Thought it was the sound system. Good to know it's not.
lol... Bloodborne is playing the eternal darkness game with us freedom.... Making us think we've gone mad.
Running with 40 Insight. I have gone mad :p
I can't play 30 fps games with fps drops. Makes me sick and nauseated. Suffering through dark souls 2 on ps3 was a mistake
Frame-rate wise Dark Souls is a major **** up across the board, even on PC no matter the specs. Not sure how good the new version of DS2 is though.
A fast paced game like Bloodborne would be the first to benefit from 60fps... This game's pvp would've been glorious in 60fps but instead its in 20fps or lower when fighting multiple people.
IMO it always worked, but was always part of a balancing act, you can have more impressive visuals but it might come at the expense of framerate. Or have a faster framerate but will come at a sacrifice in other areas of the graphical performance. But, 30fps is workable at no major sense of loss, 60fps is better but 30fps is adequate. I don't think anybody has seriously cared whether games are always 1080p/60fps, I think a majority of Sony fanboys just want their PS4 ports to be better than the Xbox One's.
What it comes down to is this: Games are not movies. Movies running at 60fps look weird because they weren't designed with it in mind. Games are interactive and require precise controls. The only way to provide those controls with minimal input lag is with a higher framerate. Part of Call Of Duty's popularity, whether the general public knows it or not, is due to the fact that the games run at 60fps. Now that Battlefield runs at 60fps this gen we're seeing a lot of converts.
The 30 FPS is fine, it just bothers me when it noticeably dips but that doesn't happen too often thankfully.

Never saw Dark Souls 1 or 2 dip below 60 for me, except when Sheath does his crystal bullshit. But that drops frames for everyone for some weird reason. Clearly part of that fight's mechanics.
Yes, much in the same way that owning a Toyota is totally the same as owning a Porsche. I mean, they're both cars, right?
Sort of, yes. It isn't like one can appreciate a nice sports car in a city, unless they are buying the car as a purse-accessory. Enzo Ferrari once said something not so nice about people buying his cars for city driving/commuting....would like to remember exactly what.
Someone revoke his rights to make new topics already.... this is clearly trolling, like most of his other topics.
What cinematic about slow downs and DRrrrrr sounds when the frames freeze completely?
60 fps will always be better than 30. It's much smoother. I'd rather have that than much prettier graphics. That said, bloodborne is a ton of fun and when I get a chance to play it at home, I'm instantly hooked. It's a great game and one that shouldn't be missed.
Depends if it's stable or not a stable 30fps is fine unless it's a fighting, driving, bayonetta type games. But I'd rather have 60FPS unless it's going to be up down and all over the place.

BB is a quick game so 60fps is as important to this game as it is to Bayo.
Please, not this cinematic bullshit again... 60fps is better than 30fps. There is no room for discussion about this. It's stupid. I'm not saying that 30fps is unplayable but saying that it's better than 60fps is just,,, sigh.
Bloodborne is a high rated and highly praised game, Bloodborne runs at 30fps, therefore 30fps can't be anything but amazing.
Cows did the same with TLOU Remastered, "OMG, 60fps is so smooth, Naughty Gods were right, they showed us, I don't want 30fps no more, bring UC4 baby!!!11".
UC4 60fps dream dies: "well 30fps is just good enough for this type of game, I actually think 60fps would ruin the cinematic feel".
Maybe we can call it the Solid Game fallacy.
Hahaha, you're always spot on.
What happened to all the numbers between 31 - 59? Why does it always have to be 30 or 60?
Why can't companies compromise with like say 45fps... sure it's not as great as 60 but it's 15 frames per second better than 30.
