Sony is BY FAR the best company in gaming. They have been dedicated to supporting core gaming for like 2 decades. They also make casual stuff but they've never forgotten the gamers.

Nintendo also deserves mad credit for creating gamers out of the younger generation. It's how I got into gaming when I was rally young, but it was with Sony that I truly became a GAMER.

these are developers from Santa Monica. if you don't know well enough, Santa Monica houses and teaches devs for quite a while now. the Journey (flOw, Flower) devs came from Santa Monica as well. SM also helped make Starhawk, Twisted Metal, and inFamous. former Santa Monica devs did the God of Wars in the PSP, they also helped make all the PixelJunk games, Fat Princess, Escape Plan for Vita, the upcoming Sorcery, and they're now making Datura and another secret PS3 title.

Sony has given gamers what we want. the feeling of not being forced to pay for things like online, a proprietary HDD that costs an arm and a leg, if you're an early 360 adopter you had no wireless, etc, Sony gave us a plethora of first- and second-party exclusives to enjoy, they actively supported risky games like Journey and Heavy Rain, and at the same time they gave us a blast-from-the-past-gens new games like Twisted Metal, Sly 4, Killzone, and on top of those they also gave us new exciting IPs like inFamous and Uncharted. on top of that,

you get it now? it's not about the "oh look PS3 doesn't have cross game chat, it copied Achievements blah blah blah" all of which are useless anyways.
