@R4gn4r0k: I never stated it was bad.
@mesome713: bassman is probably doing that right now. Got to play Witcher 3 and gta5 at 4k120 on his $1500 gpu.
I actually have a ton of Steam games that I would love to play on PC though it would require me to upgrade my graphics card which would be expensive. I never been a PC gamer as always preferred consoles though my nephew last year got a Alienware R8 PC that looks nice. I tried a few Steam games on his PC and it couldn't handle Sonic Lost World or Mafia. I always wanted a Alienware PC but it's huge though probably get a gaming laptop next year.

And yet you are spending time in a thread obsessed with how another person spends his money.
yeah, bassman is the real sucker here...
@R4gn4r0k: If spending 5k to play old games isn’t the definition of a sucker, I don’t know what is.
The whole point of owning good hardware is that you can play anything and not worry about it. When I look at the requirements for a game, it is more out of curiosity to see how well optimized or demanding it is. I never look at them and worry about it not running well on my system. Old games, new games, ray tracing, whatever... just crank shit up to max and enjoy. I do not like to compromise. I demand quality.

Says a grown up guy playing 20fps games on his glorious switch system.
I see you are convinced of what makes a gamer or not. Doesn't mean you're not wrong.

@R4gn4r0k: Heck yeah, my Switch was $299 and has amazing games. This year was amazing year for Switch. Was a pretty shitty year for PC. But that’s every year for PC. Imagine spending $5k on a gaming PC and waiting 10 years to justify your purchase. But then you find out you expensive shitty PC is now outdated and you need to spend another $5k to take advantage of the game. Then wait another 10 years again. That’s what we call a 🤡 purchase.

@BassMan: Bro I have an Xbox X. I get quality gaming at a super cheap price. Sorry I don’t like wasting money on stupid gimmicks.
Congrats, you have a console with performance around a 1080 Ti that I bought 6.5 years ago. Am I supposed to be impressed? Consoles are low tier hardware.
