Hey, SW, What's the Worst System You've Ever Owned?

For me, it's gotta be the Gamecube. Not that there was anything that I could remember being fundimentally wrong with it. There just weren't any games I liked for it. By the time the last console generation ended, I only had like seven games for it. :P

My Wii isn't looking much better, though. I gotta stop buying Nintendo. They just don't get my kind of games on their consoles anymore.

Well I classify worst a bit different than you. I do not just name something I did not like just because of my tastes. The worst console I ever owned would have to be The Virtual Boy. Good lord why did I have to be so young and stupid. My parents should have known better :P.millerlight89

I owned maybe 5 games for that system during its life cycle. Same for the GBA.

They were pretty much Pokemon machines.

The worst system, though...that's the Wii. I just haven't had a very good experience with it, through some fault of my own (not getting enough games for it).

The worst system I've ever owned? I'd say it was an Athlon XP 1700+ gaming PC with a Soyo Dragon+ (Via KT266a) motherboard which died within a year. I replaced the Soyo with an Abit, also based on a Via KT266a. That one died within six months. Finally, I got an ASUS nForce 2 mobo that was finally problem-free. I never bought a Via-based motherboard again.

All my consoles were okay, even the 3DO.

Red are systems I don't have anymore and I never played 2600 for Genesis it broke, and Xbox 360 my brother moved out and took the system with him it was good and I had a lot of games for it but I just never bought another one I'm getting a PS3 soon.

Out of all those, I'd have to say the Xbox was the worst purchase. Aside from Halo, it was all a bunch of games I could've just played on the PS2 or PC. And THEN the final nail in the coffin for me was how MS completely abandoned it once the 360 came out. A close second, however, was the N64 (I know it was alot of people's first console on here, and that's why I think It's so fondly remembered on here). The number of games I really enjoyed on that console number in the single-digits.

Gameboy Color. I liked it, but it was pretty much used exclusively for Pokemon/Zelda.

I played Road Rash on it the most. The sounds the bikers made when they got smacked made me want to smack them some more. :lol: I think Road Rash 3DO was one of the first console games to come with extra content like music videos. Great game. That's why I got my avatar from it.

I played that plus Madden, Star Control 2, and Need for Speed.

Consoles I've got my moneys worth: N64>NGC>Wii

Consoles I didn't really buy many games for and nor did I enjoy all that much: Xbox 360>NDS>Playstation 1

EDIT: On second thoughts, I've enjoyed the BC on the Xbox 360

SNES, after the PS came out there was no reason to keep it. 8)

Probably the Saturn or Gamecube, and I loved both of those consoles.
