You're trying too hard with the damage control. This game still has a high Meta average. The RPG part of the game is fine. It just sounds like the exploration part of the game was oversold for some people

Watched a few video reviews and most of this game sounds like it’ll be very good to me. Combat is good. A lot of nice looking visuals. Interesting story and quests. Some good ship and base building mechanics. Good customization. Wish it was more seemless in travel and what not and it’s got those different levels of character model quality but those things won’t really bother me much.

I tried to warn everyone about Bethesda and Todd Howard. A few of us here did, actually.

Every time, they hoodwink gamers into believing their massively ambitious project is going to release with all the features they claim, and then it releases.

An 87 MC is still really great. It means it's just as good as Ratchet Rift Apart, Returnal, Horizon Forbidden West, and , Gran Turismo 7. :)

Did they review the game with multiplayer included, you know, like every other halo titles ever made? No. Why? Because it would destroy it original score, and if it did, with the hype the game had behind it, gs were scared for the backlash. Don't get it mistaken, Infinite is a 7/10 TOPS. Its more of a 6/10 game, which is pathetic.

The only good thing about Prey is its level design. Everything else was mid as hell. Would've given it a 7, just like 7field.

Very suprised that the metacritic score is so high given that both IGN and Gamespot gave such low scores. High eighties is a very good metacritic score. I predicted 91 and its a lot closer than I thought after seeing the scores of those two sites.

Bolded is a lie, please stop lying. It's a typical Todd Howard RPG, if people like that style of game they'll like Starfield.

I will be playing later today but the IGN and Gamespot reviews seem to confirm what I most feared: Starfield doesn't do space exploration well or rather it doesn't really do it at all. The promise of No Man's Sky but with the storytelling scope and combat gameplay of a AAA studio is what got me hyped. Turns out this gameworld feels a lot more like a disjointed set of cities than actual galaxy/set of star systems.

I complained about BG3 facial animations to be outdated. You look at the wooden shit in 7field, and its like two generation behind what doesn't even look impressive to begin with. 25 years in the making btw.

This is an absolutely fantastic score. What people don't forget is that Bethesda games age like fine wine. 7/10?? Give the modders time and it's going to be a 10 possibly a 12/10.
