So, let's start this off by saying SCV shit the bed by excluding Taki. Why? Why would you do this? Do you hate orphans? Honestly, that shit's messed up.

But besides that, where's Souls Calibur this gen? I mean, DOA hasn't really shown up, besides Last Round. Street Fighter is coming, so is Mortal Kombat, but what about SC? They put out that F2P thing, right? Don't know how that's doing, but seriously, where's our next gen Soul Calibur, and for ****'s sake, bring back motherfucking Taki, or I'll really flip my shit.

Has there been any news? Did the last one do poorly?

I think the fighting genre is saturated with already released or upcoming releases, they will probably wait for a better release window.

I thought I read a while back that they were making a SoulCalibur VI. Personally, I hope it's a reboot solely because I hate that unlikable piece of shit Patrokolos. Hell, the roster as a whole was pretty terrible. V was by far the weakest of the series.

Come to think of it, I haven't liked the series since III. I was indifferent towards IV.

SCV is arguably SCs worst installment and its not because of the gameplay, but the presentation. Personally, for me its gameplay because they made Siegfried obsolete. Plus almost HALF the entire roster is complete and utter crap.

They'll be focusing on Tekken anyway, but I doubt we'll see a SC6 anytime soon. Changing the cast should go down in history as one of the most stupid things a company could do when making a sequel. They should have followed Arc Systems and created an entirely new IP.

Partial nudity isn't nudity. A couple years ago, they allowed people to post hand-bras and naked butt shots. So long as there wasn't pubes or nipples.

Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever touched a Soulcalibur game except the first Soul Edge/Blade game back on the PS1. If I wanted a competitive fighting game for ass and titties I'd probably pick up the latest DOA game.

I'm looking at that Sonya man picture and I just don't get it. That is as extreme as the DOA stuff. This thread might get hijacked but I always thought this was a great character design and Microsoft sort of missed the 90s simplicity that gave it its charm.

I'm not going to lie I don't know if I would want a SC6. SCV was very mediocre at best. And knowing Namco Tekken is going to be worked on day and night seeing as it has a more dedicated fan base. I mean I like Soul Calibur more than Tekken but with MKX, Tekken, and SFV making it's way soon were good for now.

Soulcalibur is dead to me until they bring back Talim.
