Yes sure, i pay for Gamepass, but i get access to ALL games there and can play how much and whatever i want there.

I dont replay games i finished. For the price of 2 AAA games i get gamepass for a full year with all day1 releases and everything else. Pretty much free if you ask me, thx Phil

I probably had 5 bugs over the course of 30 hours all of which were quickly resolved after reloading the game. So you can reach all you want but the reality is it was in much better shape then many other big budget titles. Baldurs Gate 3 for an example was an absolute shit show. It was so bad I had to wait two weeks for the game to get patched before I could finish it.

Regardless Ninja Theory has never produced anything up to Spider-Man 2's level of quality.

I'm not as sure that's as reassuring as you would like to believe. They are essentially selling a game to be relatively hyped up at the price of a AA game. To me thats speaks volumes about the overall package the game has to offer. 8 hour campaign, perhaps that's why, but then again.. why?

That’s a good thing considering the shit quality that is Spider-Man 2. Insomniac needs to not rush games anymore to prevent these disasters.

I guess pirates are the ones who least care about not having a physical version of their game.

I get having principles but playing a game (the software, the coding that went into a game) is 99.99% of the experience and owning a physical copy of that game or displaying it on a shelf somewhere is only 0.01%.

As much as I like collecting games myself I wouldn't want to miss out on Alan Wake 2 or Hellblade 2 just because there isn't a copy to put on my shelf.

Likewise, I remember people refusing to play Half Life 2 because it came with DRM... Steam, they said they never wanted to play a game that wasn't truly theirs and came connected to a piece of sofware like this.

Most game collectors (me included) wont be missing out on acclaimed games just because there isnt a physical version. They just wont buy it at launch full price like the developers want us to but will rather wait for a deep deep sale on the games.

Thats the thing about collectors, they are willing to pay full price for a game only if they'll fully own it and for that most will research if a full playable game will be on the disc/cartridge before shelling out their hard earned cash. Despite fewer and fewer, there are still fully playable games on physical media not requiring online conection or day 1 patches in order to be playable. From Software games or most Nintendo games come to mind for ex
