How come Halo 2 is not running at 1080p but Halo 3 and 4 are? It doesn't make any sense.

Well in that case it doesn't seem so strange that they had to lower the resolution a bit. This seems like an awesome collection with 60 fps and all. It really makes me want an xbone, never had an xbox console before, I always preferred nintendo and sony consoles, still do. But I really like the halo games.

It would be a crime if this didn't get AAA. The only thing I can see bringing the score down is if there's some major server issues on launch.

So only 6 maps in halo 2 will have new graphics? Are the rest like it was back in 04?

From what I understand, the remade halo 2 multiplayer maps will be their own separate multiplayer component because they'll play slightly different too. But I could be wrong.

I think the entire Halo 2 multiplayer is in there as well, untouched (well at 1080p/60fps/dedicated servers)

yep, the 6 most popular maps got remade with shiny new graphics. but if u watch the ign live vid i posted earlier halo 1/2/3 graphics hold up very well and look extremely clean so they are defo playable.

@RR360DD: yea they would have to i would think. It would be weird having them in the same playlist.

I would be lying if i didnt say I'm slighty disappointed, but o well. Looking forward to 2s campaign as i haven't plyed it since 04. So it will almost be like playibg it for the first time.

Are they redesigning that godawful Halo 2 campaign? Because to be honest, unless they are doing that, this won't warrant me buying Xbone.

I just saw a video of the new Halo 2 campaign. No, it's just a graphical overlay. Still the same rubbish design as it was the first time around, but with prettier in-game graphics and prettier pre-rendered CG cutscenes.

Looks like I'm buying it primarily for the Nightfall show. Looks average, but always keen on a Ridley Scott sci-fi production.

Four Halo games, one remastered, the other newly remastered, and the other two running at 1080p/60 FPS. And then there's that Halo 5 beta access thing. All of this, for $60. I don't see this scoring lower than a 9.

Could be as low as AA or as high as AAAA but think I'll be boring and plump for an AAA rating.

Gravemind looks terrific and much more terrifying than the original Halo 2 version. I wish they would just let Blur make a feature length CG animated Halo movie.

It would totally be a flop, but I could still see it happening, as I could a 10. GS can be a bit hard to predict.

I can't seeing it being a AAAAE just because each game has already been released. Otherwise, it'll get close I think.

I don't think it will, and even if physical copies are unavailable I doubt the value will change much since it's available digitally.

I still have my Metroid Prime Trilogy, not the new plastic cover one either, the original steel book version. Absolutely love it.

I was just about to post the link to that IGN article....glad to hear skill based ranking system is returning, and each game will apparently have a separate rank which I think is great.....and all on dedicated servers....this is just too much, and that screenshot of the lobby where you can chose each game is just crazy....anyways, not thinking about this now ...time to try out the Evolve Alpha

On topic, it looks like a solid 9, maybe a perfect score given the value in the box.

Will not be buying as I've never enjoyed Halo to begin with.

Will reviewers have access to the Nightfall content? And all of the multiplayer content and options? I would love the next GoW to have like an animated story content included of Kratos as just a Spartan General, if that's not the game itself. Some lore and backstory in that universe would be awesome to me.

I was a big fan of Metroid Prime since the Gamecube days, it's one of my favorite series, no way was I ever trading it in >_<

usually these days i hate CGI trailers of video games,but that was just freakin awesome.

I am the same way but they are also the cut scenes in the game now. I think I might have to start with Halo 2 just to check them out.

i really wish they'd stop doing live action movies and just let Blur handle all their movies from now on. They've done a great job with the new cut scenes

I have not been this excited for a game for a long time. In this case its four games, a Beta and disgustingly large multiplayer contents.

The multiplayer alone warrants the pricetag. Watching the Gamespot live stream yesterday only cemente my belief that this collection will be a must own title for 95% of Xbox One owners.

Chills baby, chills... what a stroke of genius this package and the timing of it, I'm sufficiently Pumped, can't wait.
