Halo 4 vs God of War 4 (E3 clash of the Titans)

This is probably two of the highest, if not THE highest selling exclusives (series) on each platform. Both are on their fourth game (not counting spinoffs and such) and both probably going to be revealed in great detail at E3.

So which one of them do you think will be better (in your opinion), and which one will receive higher critic scores?

God of War: Ascension

I personally am VERY excited for God of War Ascension and think if I played both (don't own a 360 anymore) I would enjoy GoW more than Halo 4, but obviously not much is known about GoWA. I do wish Halo 4 (and all the others from 3 on) were on PC, but whatever, no big deal.

What if Nintendo announces Metroid Prime 4 though!? :o

If this does indeed happen, it could very well take both of those games down (for me), though it wouldn't be an easy fight.

I'm excited for both games, but more I'm more hyped for Halo 4. I can't see why we need another prequel to the GOW trilogy.deangallop

I still think everyone is wrong who says it is a prequel. Never has it been officially called a prequel. Yes the majority of it will take place in the past, but I strongly believe it is after GoW3, and will involve Kratos being given a second chance to go back to where it all began and right his wrongs. Something along those lines. There are actually quite a few things hinting at this, so I cannot believe not many have noticed it.

I guess tomorrow it might be answered though, since GoWA gets some details and maybe shown off :).

As I've grown tired of Halo since Halo 3, I'd have to go with GOW.

Comparing a Hack n Slash to an FPS in terms of score ad quality is silly though. But if I had to pick 10 times out of 10 it's GOW.

The poll should be "who will score higher, Halo or GOW?" because saying that one will be better than the other is not exactly "objective" since you can like Hack & Slash games more than FPS games or vice versa.

Halo 4, granted GoW4 will likely be an actually worthwhile PS3 exclusive.

I am not comparing, just having a fun prediction/debate on opinions. I don't compare Zelda and Counterstrike, but I can still tell you which I like better. And I can still review both games and give a general score to each, indicating my opinion on eaches quality.

But you can understand everyone's angst (mostly mine) towards the prospect of thsoe two, and it being SW and all :P

Anyway out of those I would say GOW because I have never liked the Halo games. Tried Halo 1 back when it released and didn't get into it.

As in MGS4 and GoW3. Twisted Metal maybe as well. The rest are meh as far as I am concerned, ESPECIALLY Uncharted.

IDK, why has he ever gone back in time? It doesn't render it useless if he has a reason to go back and change his ways. I doubt he will forget it either. he will always have it on his conciounse. You just wait and see. I am right ;).

1's story is easily the best. 2 ruined it, and 3 had to try and bring it back. But it is entertaining never the less. I have a feeling my theory on the GoWA story is right and if so, I think it will be the best story yet.

I personally enjoy the God of War games much more than the Halo games, simply because I'm more of an action gamer than a shooter. With that said, I think it's pretty fair to say that Halo 4 will probably be a better game and get more sales (that's pretty much a fact) than God of War 4.
