Gears of War HD Remaster Runs at 60fps

I agree with that being a 343 issue. A compilation for Gears should be easier in theory as they all use the same game engine.

Another fucking remaster, i was actually playing gears a couple of days ago, the first one is still the best in my view, the storyline wasn't a convoluted mess, levels where better and you had to deal with the Krill, after that the Series went downhill, Dom and Maria scene was just plain embarrassing the chracters got far too emotional and the whole Story took a nose dive into the Abyss.

I feel sorry for people who dropped 400 quid on these consoles just to play 7th gen games with Prettier graphics and improved framerates

At least we know why both companies didn't have BC on there consoles.

Why not all 3? Yes halo collection is problem, but seem Gears collection will be easier to make 1 MP with all map since gameplay is so similar. This would sell xbone a lot.

They should run the mad world commercials again through the release window.

The original Gears did not age well at all.

Why not release the trilogy? Trilogy at 60fps would be cool, ala Halo collection. Just the 1st game... which is on PC... who cares?

HD remaster was already released in 2007.

They're reworking the game along with the cutscenes (akin Halo 2 Anniversary) from the ground up.

I'm confident you'll realize plenty of differences between Gears of War HD on PC and Gears Remastered for Xbox One.

Now xbone players still in the closet can play as a bunch of meat-head muscle men. That being said gears 1 was the best of the series, it goes all downhill from there.

There are toasters that can run that game at 60fps. I would hope the Xbone is able to run a last gen unreal engine game at 60fps. My PC can probably run it at 4K at 120fps if I even bothered to install it.

Gimme all of them at 1080p/60fps and i'll be happy. Mind you, that may be too much to ask.

Played Gears of War in 2007 with 1920x1200, max settings and 60fps, what is that point of the "remaster" now?

However if it was done on the unreal engine 4 with all the bells and whistles it will be nice, except from the fact that it will run on the xbon with 720p and 30fps LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

GeoW could run on most smart phones, it would want to run at 60fps on a current gen console.

Sounds like how I feel about MGS. I'll pick it up especially if it contains all of the extra DLC. I never downloaded all that extra content.

Well, I can play the game on my PC at 60fps maxed out and the game was enjoyed at 60fps for years. How does that feel?

Only way I see this as something good is if it's gears 1-3 remastered for $80 (My home prices). If they aren't all there it's a money grab, but hey people keep buying anything that gets thrown out there so they'll keep doing it.

I enjoyed the series when Cliff Bleszinski was at the helm. I believe he's the reason why the series felt relevant and cool at the time.

Hope he comes back to game design with some new interesting IPs.
