Okay, I'm generally not one to care about the superior versions of multiplats all that much as long as said version provides me enough enjoyment out of it (I'll play Tomb Raider: Legend/Anniversary on my GameCube/Wii, I'll play SoulCalibur II on my GameCube, I'll play Mass Effect Trilogy on XBOX 360, I'll play Oblivion/Skyrim on 360, and heck I'll play Majora's Mask on the Collector's Edition despite it's one flaw with it's emulation). But I'll admit, there are exceptions on my end.
007: The World is Not Enough (N64) - The PSOne version is missing multiplayer, which, anyone who's played Goldeneye at the time would probably see that as a MAJOR downer.
007: Nightfire (console versions; specifically the GameCube) - I've already played the PC version before this and while I did think that version was fun, I was let down that Gearbox left out quite a bit of the campaign, in both story and gameplay (the on-rails turret segments and driving levels) from the version developed by Eurocom. Which is odd because FPS are USUALLY received better on PC.
XGIII: Extreme-G Racing (GameCube) - PS2 version only deals with two players; GameCube has four.
Dragon AGE: Origins (PC) - I admit, I wouldn't have minded playing the console version because I wanted to play the game that much, but as I play more and more of this. I realize that this BEGS to be played with mouse and keyboard with how the controls are set-up.
So, name those games that made you especially glad to go with the superior version.
