Some quick facts //
Played the demo on Windows 10. Quite impressed with what I played.
Mark me down for a 9 (I never could remember what score corresponds with how many As).

AAAA - 10
AAA - 9
AA - 8
A - 7
Part of the old SystemWars is hard to shake off, so I forget folks aren't always up to date on the verbage. :P
Do the major review sites give racing games 10s? I can't remember the last time. So realistically, it'll probably get 8s & 9s I think... but I can't wait! It looks awesome.

Cheers mate. I'll probably forget again, though, so don't be surprised if I ask this again.
Played demo on 1S and impressed with how it handled new effects etc. Love Forza and currently my favourite racer but other than the added effects it feels like a Forza game. Not a bad thing but hardly worth major hype.
I know I’ll be getting a very good racing game similar to how good 6 was.
9's everywhere but here, i'd say an 8 here, maybe a 7 if Miguel is reviewing it as he needs his replay's at 60fps
I am in the process of learning to drive myself. I have been putting it off for years. My city is pretty small. Generally, you can walk everywhere. :P
This game is going to be a great compliment to the learning experience! I can't wait to give it a go.
I really enjoy my time with the Demo on PC and was amaze how it fairs despite windows 10, it handles itself well. So with that, I'm buying Forza 7 PC and I'm going for a 10/10. (I'm not kidding)
LOL, good one dav, 10's are saved for walking simulators & movie games. Forza needs some QTE's to get a 10.

if you're talking about 10s on GS, pretty sure that's not descriptive of most of the 10/10 games
I'm going to be that guy and hype it at AA. Hear me out before you freak out. As impressive as it looks and cool as it sounds to have 700 cars, I don't think reviewers, at least here on GS, are going to be satisfied enough with that to give it anything more. You have racers like project cars 2 which deliver better driving experiences while also delivering better dynamic weather effects. I expect them to take that into consideration. O also don't expect them to take into consideration the ability of this game to run at 4K/60 since the X isn't out yet. And if the Deeno is any indication, the pc version is going to be a bit of a mess.
That's my take and I'd be happy to eat crow if none of this comes to pass.
Gameplay will be Rock solid as always and content seems there, but the aspect I've not read about yet are the features, and how they will compare with the competition.
Forza 6 added Leagues which I loved, Horizon 3 introduced campaign coop amongst other things, so Ill have to wait and see what Forza 7 brings but overall Metacritic should be over 80's, Gamespot I have no clue too difficult to predict. Shaping up to be the best motorsport game yet, only a few days left to find out
@drlostrib: Oh yeah. I just checked and I was wrong. :(
Oh well, still makes the point that it's neither a cinematic or walking simulator. Maybe Divinity 2 can get a very high score too. It looks terrific so who knows.
People are voting AAAA? That's pushing it.
Why? Forza has become the premiere franchise in the genre, and 7 looks better than ever and the game is loaded with content.
I'm expecting 9.0-9.5 but a perfect 10? Hahaha, no. That's a bit of a ridiculous score for any game. No game is perfect.
Will this come to Steam like Quantum break did or not?
Doubt it. It's a highly anticipated Microsoft first-party game, so they're going to try to use it to promote the Windows Store as much as they can.
That said, Killer Instinct is coming to Steam, so they seem to be a bit inconsistent on this.

A 10 has never meant the game is perfect.
Yeah I bet. 10/10 is a perfect score which means the reviewer is telling me the game is perfect.

Pretty sure the verbal representation is "essential".
They can say all they want in the review. A 10/10 is and will always be a perfect score which no game deserves.

Using scores to determine the value of a game in general never made any sense to me, but it makes even less sense that if you are using them, we count 10/10 as perfect; simply because no game is perfect.
This video does a good job explaining why counting 10/10 as perfect makes even less sense than using scores to begin with. :P

... in your opinion.
That's fact, because no game is perfect. 10/10 means perfect. Again, they can say all they want in the review. Doesn't change the fact.

Thanks for the video. Now I hate rating systems even more.
@metalboi: Sunders has a very good gaming channel dedicated to game design, generally. This video was a little different in how he addressed some of the confusion that surrounds the 10/10 score in written reviews. I would have liked a more expanded video regarding how review scores really steal games of valuable conversation.
I've experienced it here myself. Rather than getting someone's opinion on a game, all they gave me was a link to a review and his own personal, yet vague score regarding the game. Basically a totally vapid conversation. :(
So really it doesn't matter if Forza 7 scores a 10/10. It means that for whoever is playing it, this game is exactly what they are after and all the flaws are minute compare to the successes.
@Jebus213: Tell me about it. The video makes a very apt jab at how scores really dilute discussions about games down to a pretty weak level. The fact that there is so much confusion in what these scores truly represent, like is 10/10 perfect? Is 7/10 an average game? The fact that discussion regarding what these scores mean is more common place than discussion about the games themselves is telling that the emphasis put on this diluted information is a determent to the community, rather than something useful.
@metalboi: I feel like the writing quality of the general game review could do with some improving to begin with. It's too uncommon to see points left largely unexplained or not exemplified enough within context of the game. There's also too many paragraphs devote to the background of the game than the meat of the game itself. You see this in many music reviews, which are pretty awful too. The Guardian (A UK publication) does about 4 paragraphs for an album review and has one or two of those paragraphs dedicated to the history and style of the band, then a slap-stick 2 paragraph description of the music with some closing thoughts. Rubbish, basically.
The idea that critics are respected individuals who are highly regarded in their respective medium just isn't true. They don't need any intimate knowledge of the art form, and most of them can't even express themselves properly in writing.

Lol... no way sites like GS or Polygon would ever give a game like Forza 7 a 10/10.
But one guy who knows his racing games is Luke Reilly from IGN... if he says it's good, it's good.

It is the Sony fans so even if it scores AAA they can say its a flop.
@hrt_rulz01: Well me and MetalBoi agrees Forza 7 should get a 10/10 and it's really packing lots of content. I played the demo on PC and was so amaze what I gather. I never really believe in this walking simulator nonsense getting higher scores and it seems I_P_Daily has forgotten Breath of the Wild got a 10/10 and you tell me if that game was a walking simmie nonsense?
That's the problem with Xbox fanboys, they assume too much.
