Ahhh, I was truly mistaken with MM, good one for catching my fault. However, Wind Waker is another matter and one that is actually a little more complicated. Space World 2000 had a showing of the tech demo, one of Link and Ganondorf fighting. Nintendo never said this was not in the works or that it was not for a game. They, very intelligently, just kept mum about the whole thing until the next year when they showed gameplay of WW. So I think this one is a toss up. So We have Ocarina and TP taking a while and MM on time. WW being a toss up. That's still not a good record. Remember as well, I did say console Zelda's in my first post. :)Ibacai
I'll fight this. :)
Ocarina of Time came out over ten years ago; that's ancient history in the gaming world and can't really be used as a measuring stick for Nintendo's marketing policies anymore. Not to mention that it was the first 3D Zelda game. They were reinventing the wheel with that one and ended up with what many consider to be the greatest game of all time, so its very long development cycle was evident in the final product.
Twilight Princess is also a special circumstance in my opinion, because as much as Nintendo may say that it's not the case, I beleive they delayed it so it could be a launch game for the Wii. Some like 75% of people that bought a Wii also bought TP in those few weeks after launch IIRC, so it was a wise decision on their part.
I disagree with the Spaceworld demo for gamecube being the reveal for Wind Waker. They were just demonstrating how their characters could look with the power of the Gamecube behind them. I mean they even showed Perfect Dark in that demo, and we all know how that turned out. But the real indidcation is the "Mario 128" portion of the demo. It showed a bunch of Marios on a sperical world, and Miyamoto has said that was where the idea for Mario Galaxy originally started, but that doesn't mean Mario Galaxy was announced right then, we got Mario Sunshine a few years later. Speaking of Mario Galaxy, being Shiggy's latest hardcore pet project, I think that it's announcement in 2006 and subsequent release in 2007 is the best indicator of how long the public has to wait for a Nintendo game.
All that being said, I actually don't think that Zelda Wii will come out in 2010, because I don't really consider this to be a proper announcement. When we get our first real trailer is the official debut of the game imo, and we have yet to see that. Sure I'd like Zelda sooner rather than later, but Nintendo would be releasing a new Mario, Metroid, and Zelda all around the same time, basically smothering their own game launches. I don't think they'd do that. They didn't let that happen when Metriod Prime, Mario Sunshine, and Wind Waker were coming out, as those games had three months of padding between them, and I don't think it'll happen now.
[QUOTE="PSfanboy101"]But what will he hold? 0.0AlexSaysThe girl. When he sees a bad guy he'll just whip her out and swing her around. Like I used to do with my high school girlfriends. Haha that me picture Link screaming in his usual way flailing about with his trustworthy Zora.
You have it backwards though... the legs are the hilt... and the tip is the head... but good job. Here is what I think... :

[QUOTE="Weslii"] And we've got an answer...kansasdude2009no, there are the same problems imo. The gem and the wings don't fit.

And the wings are down like the decoration of the Master Sword was in Wind Waker because the design of the Master Sword in Wind Waker didn't stick up until your collected the Tri-Force peices so that is why it is pointed downward if you have a picture of the Master Sword when you first get it in Wind Waker it will match the shape of her wings.i like how some people still don't think its real, but it is. its in Nintendo's Press Kit. Its real.
That girl looks like the mastersword in human form.
Kinda reminds me of Bleach.

I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out that way. The idea that Link won't have a sword in this game is complete baloney. Why so much fear because Link doesn't have a sword in a piece of concept art?>_>
I really hope this new Zelda uses orchestrated music and voices for people other than Link. Also, give us GOOD remixes of classic Zelda themes; the crappy LTTP Castle Music in TP's Hyrule Castle did NOT cut it. princeofshapeir
I can't see why the music won't be orchestrated, seeing the success of SMG.

Looking back at Twilight Princess, it still had some pretty damn good music. The Hyrule Field theme is probably my new favorite in the series, and the Stallord boss fight music was epic and a huge nostalgic trip back in time to OoT. Also, the music for the Ganon fights were very good. Kinda makes me forget that they're just synthesized.I think shell morf just like in TP... like you can play a song (hopefully on an ocarina for god's sake) and shell turn into the master sword, and vice versa.... all i know is that even thinking link wont have a sword this go round is just dumb.... it would be the first zelda game ever
