Yes opinions/assholes and all that. I'm just surprised that standards have dropped off to such a sharp degree.

Maybe I haven't been giving the guys at SE enough credit, they have it figured out. Drop the bar low, make people wait an unreasonable amount of time and they'll eat up whatever you have to show.

Eh at those character designs (Don't suppose Nomura could tone it down a bit more like he did for Type-0? >.>), but holy crap at the world design. Combat ain't looking bad either.

imo combat wise FF has some entries that beat out persona 3&4. On topic game looks awesome. wasint a fan of x but I liked 12 and the 13 games. So heres hoping this makes it another one.

It's one thing to not like something, it's another to just say hate on it without any sort of a reason at all while simultaneously telling people their opinion's are wrong.

xenoblade comes out next year...so you will play that first and like it young man.

Tales actually looks pretty bad. The open world looks awful and outdone technically by Xenoblade . . . which is terrible.

Excellent, because the only JRPG that actually matters next year isn't Tales or Final Fantasy or Xenoblade, it's Persona.

What Persona offers is pretty different from what Xenoblade or FF look to be offering. Persona 5 will be good no doubt though.

Xenoblade X will outscore FF15. Quote me on this. Also, FF15 has XCX beat technically (for obvious reasons) but the art direction in Xenoblade is much better thus far. Like waaaaayyyyyy better.

Dumb trailer... What's with all the driving? This trailer showed nothing but pretty graphics and a vague look at combat...and that evokes serious FFXIII vibes

I don't get...What was so amazing about this trailer.

I saw a lot of car driving.

tiny snippets of gameplay (which still look like they need major polish)

and vague story details, not nearly enough to begin to get me interested in the story.

The game looks nice graphically though.

iv seen nothing that puts xenoblad x in a greater advantage in art direction. All ive seen in forest,green and space.

Generic bishonen in HD, basically. What is truly sad is that it is the same reason people have cared about it since 2006, and some have even been discussing it daily for all these years.

I wouldn't rush to that conclusion, most of those with positive impressions are known weeaboos desperate for anything with designs by Nomura.

Am i the only one who enjoyed XIII ? game was great and the combat system was fun, not to mention beautiful visuals, sure it was far from the best JRPG last gen, but i still enjoyed it.

FFXV looks pretty good too, setting and scope is great, love the music in the trailer, graphics are awesome, combat system seems to be ok i guess...but God i really, really hate the designs of the main characters, i feel they are about to sing a J-Pop song in any damn minute, possible huge deal breaker for me.

Oh, and I'm not a fan of the dialogue. It feels very Gears of War-esque. (You know, if you were to Japan-ify the squadron slang and shit-talking.)

Looks alright but I need to see more from the battle system.

P5 and Xenoblade have me more hyped. Meh at the new Tales.

No there are others who liked the game. I wouldint call it my favorite jrpg of last gen but I did enjoy it still. I really liked the combat system.

Image quality needs some work and some rough looking textures but holy mother fucking shit at them character models! Especially at 1:48! Those graphics could pass for a scene out of Advent Children.

This FF looks so damn sexay. I need to finish up all my rpg games and ff xiii-2. That will keep me busy and sane until it releases. Man I cant wait I will play it until my hands fall off and eyes bleed. It was suppose to be ff versus but then this one is more open world hack slash and GTA like gameplay. The chick in there looks hotter than lightning.

Persona 4 was practically a visual novel with the RPG tacked on. I think 80% of my gameplay was just building relationships with cheesey stories of how my voiceless character changed everyones lives so easily...

Is it just me or does the combat look slower than what they showed before? I'm sure it'll be good with the Crisis Core director though, that game was one of my favorites on psp.

Yeah, not a lot of people talk about the combat system, which I think is one of the best in the series for me.

The combat system had loads of potential, but like most things in the game, they feed it to you so slowly and by the time it starts to get interesting the game is over.

The whole game felt like a tutorial up until the very end and was full of all these legitimately good ideas that never got explored.

Looks really good. Gameplay looks alright overall too, even through some parts look iffy.

This will be much better than persona 5.
