Almost been a week and Solid hasn't posted its sales yet. Didn't the first episode sell like 3.5 million in 3 days?

I considered it, but I only just finished Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth a few days ago (brilliant game, that), and now I'm finishing up Persona 3 Reload before Unicorn Overlord comes out.

FF7R2 is a pretty low priority in comparison, especially at that price. I'll play it one day.

Really, they did a lot better than the first with an actual open-world and then just bogged it down with nonsense. Honestly an actual remake with the main parts of these games and no unnecessary filler would have been way better. Sell that as two copies with ~30hrs a piece, and it would have been great.

Just started. fk me the intro chapter was long, should have played the demo to skip it in full game. Just passed the part where the game teaches the card game... I understand jack shit.

Yea I never played the demo I was to busy played HD2 and Tekken 8.

I didn't play it either. Just no time. I have some time into HD2, but it hit the backburner after Rebirth was released.

You enjoying it? I'm really liking it so far. Only thing that concerns me is I feel like the story is going to get batshit insane and some of the side content doesn't seem worth it.

It's good, but I liked FFXVI more. I guess I must not be much into the mini-game history of Final Fantasy with the goofy characters. FFVII Remake, FFXVI and now FF7 Rebirth are the only FF games I have played. I would love for FFXVII to be more of FFXVI.

That's understandable. FFXVI had a great story in my opinion and is probably the darkest Final Fantasy to date. Alot of my attachment to FFVII is from nostalgia, as I grew up on these characters and its great to see them again but if I had no attachment to the previous entry I would probably think it's to goofy. The original had goofy moments mixed with extremely dark ones but it looks like they will be handling the more serious moments differently this time.

I enjoy the open world design better in FFVII but from A story standpoint FFXVI has better writing than rebirth. I'm also a bit baffled that from a graphical standpoint FFXVI was more consistently impressive than rebirth.

I enjoy Rebirth enough to commit to Part 3. Having never played the OG, I NEED to see the ending FO SHO.

Currently running around in the Junon area doing all I can before entering Junon. Got a real kick out of the Fort Condor quest. Having an absolute blast with game.

I’ve really been enjoying all the side quests and just exploring the world. Also the NPC dialog is quite entertaining and hilarious. Just walking around and hearing what some of these folks are chatting about is quite fun.

This is true. I have started to skip them.

Up to Chapter 10 now and just into Cosmo Canyon. Hate what they did to Red (changed his voice to a kid voice). My brother said they did Seto right, so glad that one of my favourite parts isn't ruined. They kinda botched the Golden Saucer.

The open world maps are straight up developed by Ubisoft. Seeing those stealth chocobo sections fried my braid. This is everything what's wrong with open world game design.

That Fort Condor game got pretty difficult. Music in this game is phenomenal.

Did you finish it? If you lower the game to easy for the round it lowers the difficulty of the FC game.

It's worth noting that Rebirth was only out for a single day in February, yet it became the second best-selling game that month. Helldivers 2 sold 3 million units in its first month, which would put FF7R2's launch day sales at around 2-3 million.

@lundy86_4: Finished it already. I saw that you could lower the difficulty of the game to make it easier and thought about doing that but just couldn’t bring myself to do that. Probably would have done so had I been stuck on it too long though.

@Archangel3371: Yeah, I was enjoying the side content less-and-less, so just put it down to get it over with. Wasn't enjoying the extreme breaks in story so much.

@lundy86_4: That’s certainly understandable. They seem to have gone pretty ham on the side content.
