Fallout Anthology (with a mini nuke) exclusive to PC

As revealed on the Bethesda Blog (after an announcement at QuakeCon), this anthology will be a PC-exclusive and is coming to Europe on 2nd October. North Americans will receive it on 29th September.

Priced at £39.99 / €49.99 / AU$99.95, the Fallout Anthology will include the following titles in one adorable mini-nuke:

• Fallout
• Fallout 2
• Fallout Tactics
• Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition (includes: The Pitt, Operation: Anchorage, Broken Steel, Point Lookout, and Mothership Zeta)
• Fallout New Vegas: Ultimate Edition (includes: Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, Lonesome Road, Gun Runners' Arsenal, and Courier's Stash)

Bethesda VP of PR and marketing Pete Hines noted on Twitter that the anthology's US price is $49.99 and it should be available for pre-order at retailers soon.

I kind of want it for the nuke even though my PC won't play the last two games and I already have 1 & 2 and Tactics on GOG. $50 isn't that horrible though.

Meh, already got New Vegas, Fallout 1 and 2. As far as I'm aware they're the only games that matter and I don't feel like reinstalling Fallout 3.

Bought it. I said "say no more fam" when I saw this and immediately ordered it.

Not getting it but that's a sweet looking collection.

You've got it backwards. The mini Nuke is more in the model of the Fat Man, which was dropped on Hiroshima.

Fat Man (background) was the Hiroshima bomb, Little Boy (foreground) was dropped on Nagasaki:

Already own them, like the little nuke though.

For someone who has played the original two Fallout games, a statement like this makes no sense. New Vegas is way more similar to the first two games than 3 ever could be. Hell, the only thing 3 shares with the original two games is name and setting.

This just proves you've never played the originals. Or, if you did, never paid much attention.

P.S. You should check out Wasteland 2 if you enjoyed the original Fallout titles.

If I say a game is "trash" it is obviously my opinion. A lot of people like NV, but I am not one of them. Also, you keep comparing FO 1&2 to NV. Tell me all about the similarities between a 3rd person shooter and a isometric turn based game.

well, if the bomb sound is AUDIBLE, then yea i'm all for it. If it had a inaudible bomb sound I think It would be a questionable purchase

It's funny how you don't know the similarities I'm talking about yet claim to have played them. Are you being purposefully obtuse?

It has nothing to do with the style of gameplay, but how the world and the player's interaction with it and it's NPC's that is similar. They are all three fantastic role-playing games that give the player meaningful and tough choices to make that forever change how the game world sees them.

Fallout 3 lets the player be a douche or not a douche and nobody seems to care which they choose to be.
