There's 20 for you. And a whole bunch of other games. They're all garbage anyway. I fucking hate PC games, with the exception of the Alice series (which it lost anyway).

Final Fantasy was on Nintendo before it was on Sony, and GTA and Tomb Raider landed on Xbox after is was on PS2 and none of these were ever exclusives to really begin with considering they were all by third party partners, and could choose to do what they want with their IP's.

Umm, did you do any research when writing that list? Final Fantasy, Bayonetta, Metal Gear, Dark Souls, GTA, Tomb Raider, Shin Megami Tensei, and Assassins Creed were never exclusive to Sony. All of these series' either started life before Sony even moved into the console market, or where multi platform from day one.

I've never heard that, but it might be possible. I do know it originally started life as a Prince of Persia game, but they didn't want a game released in the series that didn't focus on the Prince (you were to play an Assassin instead).

No, it was a Sony exclusive during the time of the PS3's announcement. It's actually hilariously ironic that a game that started development exclusively on the PS3, ended up with the 360 as the primary development platform and gave us one of the worst multiplat ports (PS3 version) this gen.

Final Fantasy was on Nintendo long before PlayStation.

Resident Evil was on Saturn and PC as well.

Tomb Raider was on Saturn and PC as well.

GTA was initially on PC and ported to PS1 later.

MGS was resurrected from an NES classic.

The others I really don't know but considering that PlayStation has been around for 19 years, I'd say that's not a bad number considering how many they still have.

Most of these happened last gen and/or were never exclusive to Sony platforms. Didn't effect Sony from having the best exclusives last gen, and it isn't effecting overall sales right now.

It's nice that all of the franchises you mentioned are synonymous with Sony though.

Your list is not entirely accurate. Quite a few of those weren't exclusive to begin with.

Iffy on Tomb Raider and Assassin Creed. Assassin Creed was originally announced on the PS3 but released as a multiplat. Tomb Raider actually released on the PC about a month before the PS version. What is the purpose of this thread?

And the only worthwhile exclusive of consoles is FIFA 14(aka ignine engine) a sad state that the console gaming decended to....speaking as an EU gamer.

It become fiscally viable to develop games for multiple platforms, so why wouldn't a dollar-hungry corporation exploit that?

And as a rebuttal to the point about FF, never did an FF game release simultaneously on multiple platforms. It had always been a "timed exclusive" type of game.
