I dunno if 2004 had it but 2003 had this weapon that would fire a nuclear missile.

But when it comes to the "normal" weapons, yeah the flak cannon was really deadly.

I was a boss with the Translocater in 2003. So much so, I could kill at a faster rate than any other weapon.

UT had many great weapons. That's what I miss in all these modern day multiplayer shooters most of all: these all-out weapons. Crazy ways to kill people. Not just killing someone from behind your red dot sight on your assault rifle.

How is this nonsense? Have you seen Quake Lives steam stats? They're awful. Even Warface which is one of the worst f2p shooters has more players.

Last time I checked there was not one arena shooter in steams top 100 played games. Yet Black Ops 2, MW 2, MW 3 and Ghosts are all in there.

Sounds like they haven't even started the animation yet, this game will have no chance of releasing in 2015. This is likely to come out holiday 2016, it will be interesting to see what this looks like when they actually have something working, but right now all I can say is...

You're obsessed with stats. So what if people aren't playing Quake live. Does that mean that people can't be excited about a new game? How does a low player count mean that most PC gamers hate arena shooters?

If pc gamers loved arena shooters then we would be on Quake 7 and UT 5 by now.

I guess you missed the part where I pointed out that there's not one arena shooter in steams top 100. Did you not notice that there hasn't been a big arena shooter release since 2007 which is UT 3 and it's sales were dismal?

UT 3? Only the menu's were consolized, the game itself was basically a reskin of UT 99 sans the stupid razor blades.

The new CoD's are considered consolized yet they have decent player bases on pc.

And if you sign up to the UT4 forums it'll let you have access to the pre-pre-pre-pre-alpha. Surprisingly they actually need more people to help test.

I don't have a problem with pc it's just that pc isn't for everyone and even the pc has it's pros and cons.

If someone that old is living with parents they probably have mental problems and/or maybe trying to save up to start a business.

I brought up steams top 100 and last time I checked there's not 1 arena shooter there. Why are you getting so mad at me? I like arena shooter and I'm pissed that they're all but dead.

If there was a demand for arena shooters then they would still be coming out.

Look at Warface, it's an awful f2p shooter by Crytek and it's got more players than any arena shooter.

UT2k4 is a great game and one of the highest rated shooters ever yet there's barely anyone playing it. Even in 2006 I was stuck playing on demo servers because the full version servers were empty.

Stats show what gamers like. When gamers choose a garbage military shooter over a solid arena shooter that speaks volumes.

And I think it is on topic because playing said game with these weapons requires other players and i fear the game will be dead after a few months. I wouldn't be surprised if qafter a few months the most popular server is low grav with automatic sniper rifles since that's what happened with UT2k4.
